From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in the right spot. It's gorgeous inside. Check-in was wonderful. We truly enjoyed the complimentary glass of cava. Guillermo gave us a room tour. That guy is everywhere. I don't know when he sleeps. His service is next level- always above and beyond. Everyone was like this at the hotel but Guillermo was exceptional. We loved the pool and the bikes. We rode into town one day. It was a bit of a walk into town but it's beautiful.

I loved this hotel!…read more The room had literally everything I needed (even one of those magnifying mirrors that are so good for contact lens wearers). It was clean and comfy and looked brand new. The interior of the hotel itself is also very good and stylish. Breakfast was delish! Very good coffee, too! The Spa area is very quiet and chilled, you can hang out there with a book undisturbed between your swimming and your jacuzzi. The beach is great, soft sand and clean water! The location is also good with some nice restaurants and beach bars and a little market just within walking distance.

This would be a perfect place for a personal retreat or romantic getaway. It is one of the loveliest hotels I've ever stayed at and my only regret was that I couldn't stay longer. We ordered two salads, one was ready 10 mins before the other so it sat on the table while we waited for the second. The same thing happened to other tables. I think there were issues in the kitchen. Food was very good but portions are small for the price (€14) We were here on Sunday for lunch and service was much better overall. It's a nice attempt to put something a bit more upscale on the Garraf beach but the overall service needs to follow Like i said above the staff were very friendly. I would still recommend due to the views and because my Sunday experience was nice. I am not staying at the hotel.

We were also able to try out Virens restaurant last minute when we arrived and they do have high chairs for young toddlers. Our hotel room was a one bedroom, and everything is well though out and efficient. there is plenty of storage space as well as play space for our daughter. There are also 2 small grocery/market stores on the same street (not far away) as the entrance to Almanac if you want to pick up some snacks and drinks for your room. The property itself is upscale, modern and very zen-like. It's also not a big property so it rarely felt crowded. The staff is professional and ready to help. The rooftop bar and pool are small, but lovely and quite peaceful. We enjoyed a few hours after running around poolside with a sangria to rest up before heading out to more evening adventures. The restaurant (Virens) is Fantastic! They have plant-based dishes as well as meat dishes. So, something for virtually everyone as far as I could tell. They did leave us some goodies as they knew we were celebrating our honeymoon! We booked a king bed club level suite, which came with complimentary breakfast, club access, and tapas time (from 5-7pm daily). The tapas were actually pretty good and my favorite of the three options. The club is pretty weak, just snacks and a couple of small bites and a limited option of drinks. Didn't seem like there was a consistent staff member there, but one would pop up occasionally to clear the dirty trays. The not-so-great: rooms aren't very quiet. You can hear sounds and noises from the hallway and outdoors, even on higher floors. It's primarily from other guests, especially annoying when it's later at night. The gym is okay, but some equipment need some up keeping - like the accessories are pretty much all missing from one of the technogym machines. The treadmills also don't have any internet, so you can't log into your technogym account. The elevators are the worst. You have to pre-select your destination and then wait for whichever one you are prompted to go to. It doesn't take into account how big each group is, so sometimes it's a very long wait or gets quite cramped. Other guests also aren't very mindful with their bags, so you can get whacked by their personal belongings... like it occurred with yours truly. We didn't even bother with the gym or spa. It's a tiny pool and pretty busy when we peeked. There's also a lot of children at this hotel, so if you're looking for a relaxing getaway, you should probably look into a boutique hotel. Hotel is a smidge far from the tourist attractions, but it's close to a metro stop and a mall. It's also closer to the airport, which is good if that's what you're looking for!
