I keep coming back to the Conte. Clean and central. Nice staff. Good breakfast (including fresh fruit, yogurt, in-house baked goods) (although, this being Italy, it's like a dessert buffet). Good WiFi. A short walk to the port. Not expensive; a real value (I come off-season in fall). Usually they upgrade me to a balcony room when I ask politely. The hotel is not fancy-dancy, but I always feel very comfortable here. Ischia is beautiful; really lovely. It's one of my favorite places in Italy. Or anywhere, for that matter. read more
