Had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Cordoba Center awhile back and was quite impressed. While not exactly centered in the middle of the city (Few hotels can be), it is quite easy to get to the city center from the hotel.
Presentation wise from the outside it is quite large and recently renovated within the past ten years. Check in with the staff was a breeze, even with the decent sized line of people checking in within the middle of the day. First floor is what you would expect from a hotel, lounge, bar, front desk, restaurant, etc. I did dine at the restaurant and try their buffet breakfast the next morning and in all honestly, unless you are hungry, pass on it. Fast forward to the room, they are quite spacious and when I say spacious, I mean you could fit a large family in one room. Unfortunately, they are pretty dark and have not been updated in awhile. I am not too picky, so not trying to spread bad news, just do not expect a up to date room with the latest gadgets and aesthetics. Bathroom was nice and large with plenty of amenities that you need for your daily outing. Don't expect to be a TV hog as there are limited english channels, but to be fair you are on vacation (hopefully), get out there!
In the end the rate per night is very affordable and it is hard to go wrong with this hotel, but if you are looking for pure luxury, look elsewhere. read more
