The hotel is across the street from a very small city park, very close to the train station and near shopping and the main square of the town. The breakfast was incredible. I highly recommend if you're spending time in Traunstein!

This is THE place to stay…read more I am a very experienced traveler and I have to say this has been one of my most positive hotel experiences yet. I arrived with my girlfriend after having biked 85km , as we had made a wrong turn... tired, hungry and defeated. We were welcomed by the host with the hugest smile, a glass of elderflower water, and a list of local recommendations for dinner. The hotel rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was quiet. The breakfast was truly spectacular and offered a better spread than many of the most elite hotels. I'm not kidding. The owner is gracious and friendly, giving this hotel a true charm that I will never forget. We honestly thank him for turning what was a grueling day into a wonderful memory.
