PROS
+ I really can't think of any...
CONS
- Toilet seat wasn't screwed on
- Paid for a double room, got two single beds stuck together
- No working AC
- The odour from the washroom and water from the shower left a mouldy smell in the room (close the washroom door before you leave)!
- Service staff have little to no working knowledge of English. If you're operating a hotel in a tourist city, hire some legitimate English speaking staff. The customers that come to the hotel can barely speak a lick of English let alone Italian. If your front end staff can't address your consumer's quiries, they're going to go elsewhere with their business in due time.
What the heck! No community kettle, microwave OR coffee maker (I asked the front desk)?! I just wanted hot water for my instant noodles (for the record, neither the shower or the washroom tap had hot water...it was lukewarm). Italy is a country that is raised off of espresso. That is really shit customer service if you ask me. Save yourself the trouble and DON'T BOOK FROM ANY OF THEIR SISTER HOTELS.
Stick with the hotel chains that you know and love. I'd give this hotel a 0 if I could. I would've expected more, Europe. Roma, you have failed me. read more
