Mr. Hofmann even remained late one evening to providing an educational wine tasting experience. Conference room: wifi, dry erase boards, large display screen and well lit room positively made our conference productive. The snacks, coffee and drinks were timely and good. Rooms: spacious, comfortable and clean for accommodated over 12 participants nicely. Highly recommend the conference room and even just coming to this winery to stay and explore the beautiful area.

The breakfast was also great, fresh and a good selection of food. Even tomato juice was available. As there was a lot of traffic at 10am, the service was not able to clean up the tables in time for new guests. The breakfast room is maybe a bit too small for this size of a hotel, the noise also was not so relaxing. As we were unlucky and 2 of 3 lifts were broken it was a bit of a problem to find directions in the so called "Schleuse" which should be named as eg. staircase. We were not the only one trying to find our way. The parking areas weren't properly signposted. This is really a big thing for improvement. Think of big signs, color sections or or or. Just let the people find their way in an easy way that no frustration comes up. Without the broken lifts we would not have recognized that, but we have. Otherwise more stars would have been possible.

Booked this hotel for a one-night stay with my wife and parents while traveling through Germany…read more Parking was... interesting. A very narrow drive down a scraped up wall (from other cars i assume?) into very wedged-in parking spaces. if you have to turn around, you're screwed unless you're an awesome driver! Check in was nice and they front desk gave us maps with a quick overview of what was where. They were knowledgeable about the attractions and their opening hours. The rooms were clean but basic. Looks like a refresh was in order, but they were sufficient nonetheless. Wifi barely worked, ended up using my hotspot, and it seems that's common from other reviews as well. Toiletries were at a minimum, but not really expecting anything lavish for the price we paid. In the morning went for breakfast. Despite there being nothing about price in literature nor from any staff, we were asked to pay €19 *per person* for a continental breakfast with the staff telling us this was "normal in Germany" (after spending much time in this country, it's not "normal"). After speaking with front desk manager and then the general manager, we negotiated them down to paying for 2 of 4 breakfasts, but they still told us that we should have gone on their website to see the price and that it's not required to be in their literature. To us, this is absurd (and we travel globally, quite often!).

The breakfast which was included in our stay was delicious and offered various options. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly with pointing out directions to specific sites and recommendations to consider when exploring the city. The room was clean and offered goods to purchase if interested. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked.
