We met a great owner-operator couple for this pension. They are very friendly, helpful and available. They maintain a great facility and provide much appreciated respite from busy day of touring the area or spending some time at the lake. Besides, it's not an everyday deal when you can sleep in a house that is over 300 years old, right?
Breakfast buffet was excellent with fresh fruit salad, many choices of meat and cheese, great coffee machine, and some very good bread among other offerings. One morning a soft-boiled eggs suddenly appeared on our table while we were getting our plateful of goodies at the buffet, and it happened again on the second day.
Our room was spacious, and a very comfortable bed provided a great sleep quality. It was a surprisingly quiet room even though it faces a busy road just below the windows.
Excellent experience here. Highly recommended. read more
