I was here with my partner and friends for christmat market at the weekend. And we were staying in the really nice rooms. The room that we were staying was really big. It even got the small room just for the luggages and cloths. The view from our vindow was quite nice as well. The TV was a bit hidden. It took some seconds to find it. But the room did make me feel really comfortable. The breakfast of the hotel was really great, it offered quite a lot different food to choose from. The design of the place it really gave me warm feeling at the same time really classy. The chistmas decorations were all around the place, really nice atmosphere in the air. I didn't find that one point a bit inconvenient, it really took a while to get back to our room. Basically, I had to walk around the whole place to get there. And even they offered free internet, which was great, but it was really slow. But at the end of the day, I think, I could oversee that on my review. We all had a great time and enjoyed our staying at this hotel very much. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I am glad that we were able to stay here in the hot holiday timing. Brilliant!

I love taking the train when traveling around Europe! The rooms are very basic, but clean. Shower was a tight squeeze but the towels were white and new. Bring your own shampoo/toiletries since you only get a small bar of soap in the bathroom. The concierge was very helpful and if you are thirsty and don't want to leave the hotel, there's an overpriced vending machine in the lobby.

You're only a 5 minute stroll away from a multistory shopping mall. Okay... let's call out the elephant in the room: These hotel rooms are designed for exhibitionists. Perhaps newlyweds on their honeymoon or lovebirds in the deep throes of passion? They have to be. How does one explain the entire exterior facing wall being a giant glass window and then the shower also essentially being a giant glass cube open to the entire room? You'll want to make sure all the drapes are securely attached and then closed properly, if the person you are sharing a room with is one you would rather not see in their birthday suit. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel. The fitness center was a bit depressing looking and lacking in equipment but the space is large. Be warned that the strange key you use to open the fitness center door - the knob you put the key on is the knob you turn to open the door, not the other knob that looks much more like an actual door knob. It took me 5 embarassing minutes to figure that out. Anyway, the breakfast buffet was great. Wi-Fi is available but pricey and they have a business center where they'll offer you 15 minutes of use on the business center machines for free - via an access code that you have to get from the front desk for every 15 minutes that they have to sign you in for each time. I guess the goal there is to get you to pony up the euros and buy Wi-Fi. Just remember to close the drapes. For the sake of all Dresdeners who are not into voyeurism, close the drapes.

Third, there is a very nice morning breakfast. The one negative I encountered in my stay causes me to give only three stars - connectivity. I had nothing but trouble getting online with my iPhone and with my MacBook. During a three night stay, I found myself going down to the front desk five times to get the problem straightened out. It could have been more times but I just gave up as I didn't feel like getting dressed and going down at 11 pm. So frustrating! During one visit to the front desk, the employee working the desk told me that I would have to call the hotel's internet contractor. I told her I had no phone. She got a phone, dialed the number, handed it to me and told me to sit down because I would likely be on hold for awhile. I wondered why it was my responsibility, as a hotel guest, to call the hotel's internet contractor. If you don't care about getting online, then by all means, stay here. If you do want to get online, this is not the place to stay.
