Great restaurants are nearby too, just ask reception. The city is a 5 minute walk away. There is shopping, including a Christmas market before Christmas, and a very nice movie theater. The main reason to love this hotel is the Wellness Spa and Pool area. Totally relaxing and the sauna is adults only. I think this is a perfect weekend getaway for a couple.

Or, 1- minute in another direction and you're at a fabulous ropes course with numerous courses good for 4-year olds on up to advanced climbers. Or, walk right out the door to a number of hiking trails. We opted to just play with the kids on the huge wildflower-coated alpine hillside. Can it get any better than this? I don't think so. We expected to use the Moosalm as a base to explore this area of Austria. There's a great little castle just down the hill and some awesome Roman ruins nearby. We came from the east along the winding road, but approaching from the west is a shorter drive off the main road (100 or E33). If you have the time and the views are clear, take the road from the east. The meal was so great. I had a pair of pork cutlets over top of a great toasted bread. It is a 15 to 20 minute walk to the old town and is quite a trek back up because it is on top of the mountain but that is why the views are so good The hotel used to be A treatment spa hotel so there are many free spa amenities such as German bath, steam room, hot sauna. You can also pay for a massage, sound massage etc. I got the sound massage and was quite cool experience. Breakfast is included and it's quite a good spread. I would definitely recommend this word
