The exterior is so 'art-deco'! It's like a 3D painting. Inside, the check in counter was friendly and fast and we were quickly routed to our room, a deluxe double room with one wall that was like an artist's opus. The bed was comfortable and made for a good night's sleep. There was no refrigerator or bar in the room. That was compensated for by the excellent bar near the restaurant. That's one thing about Dutch hotels - they almost always have a very 'gezellig' bar/cafe so that you don't need to spend your evening locked up in your room. In summary, comfortable stay, excellent wine bar, and approximate to everything Emmen has to offer.

Amazing hotel ! The staff is very kind and helpful…read more Everything is very colorful and the walls, wine bottles and so on is decorated by local artists in the toyism genre. The restaurant have the most delicious food I have had in a very long time! (It is worth a visit, even if you are not staying at the hotel) The double room was quite large, and had a lovely bathtub, perfectly worth the 69 euros !
