Smaller boutique hotel about two blocks walk from Galleries Lafayette, and 2-3 blocks from the Opera transit area. I had room 002. Located right behind the check-in desk. But they did have a double door with a small hallway to block the noise.
The cons would be with strong wind pressure on a rainy day, you could still here the door movement. The bathroom was designed probably for handicap access with slightly higher toilet and a shower capable of likely wheelchair rolling in and adjustable shower head height. There was a very slight smell coming from the bathroom, but enough to notice it and have to close the door.
The nice thing about the room was comfy bed, plenty of lighting and three chairs in a room probably no bigger than 180 sq feet. Plenty of places to leave your jackets, backpacks and shopping bags etc. And the most unusual good thing was that the room had a private-ish patio. I think only the two guest rooms on the first floor could access it. Had a nice open air sitting area, unfortunately December weather can be cold or rainy.
My rate was ~$165/night inclusive of tax, no breakfast. A decent price for a last minute booking in a busy part of town. read more
