I was actually booked here as a precaution of the delay/cancellation and it ended up being the same hotel. OK; enough about me and my travel adventures. The hotel itself is new, clean and the staff is extremely friendly. From the front desk staff to the restaurant staff, I felt very welcome. The restaurant is a bit pricier than typical Polish restaurants, but I understand considering it's a hotel near the airport. The food quality itself was good and they have several selections of soft drinks, hard drinks and beer/wine. The rooms are clean and relatively decent sized (for Europe). I was quite pleased with it. Plenty of power and a nice dispense in the bathroom of the various soaps/lotions. The restaurant is open until midnight which is a treat considering international travel plans. They also have a small 24x7 menu. I would highly recommend staying here if you had to overnight it in Warsaw.

It is a really nice hotel in a…read morewalking distance from the airport terminal (mind you, walking distance is for me everything within five kilometeres), that means you'll be there in twenty minutes and the area is completely safe, the only thing you meet are soldiers guarding the military entrance to the airport. The hotel it self is nice, new and spacious with low prices. What really made my day is that their restaurant is open until late evening and their Caesar salad with Zywiec beer made me forget about a long day I had. The rooms themselves are clean, big and comfortable. The picture over bed was Boeing themed, which is a nice touch for an airport hotel. Bed was comfy and their wake-up call was on time (yes, I am the last person who uses those anymore). Breakfast was nice and delicious, with a large assortment of the typical breakfast foods that come to your mind and the hotel provides a free shuttle service to/from the airport, so even if you have large bags, you'll be OK. It doesn't run 24/7 though, so check your arrival and departure times.

However, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and housekeeping failed to clean our room the second night. Further, the gentleman staffing the night reception desk literally shouted at me from 10 meters distance for drinking the complimentary coffee and eating a breakfast bar alone in the lobby at 4:30 a.m. He yelled that I was not allowed to have the coffee because I wasn't checking out, although there was no sign in any language that indicated such a policy. There was another man also having coffee at the complimentary coffee machine, but the receptionist apparently felt no need to chastise that man as he did me. Unfortunate end to a lovely visit to Warsaw. Perhaps with more polite and diligent staff the Novotel would be quite pleasant.

The room was large and very comfortable. Everything seemed new and in perfect working order. It was also very well lit (one of my major hotel disappointments) and there is are control panels on both sides of the bed. As a Titanium Elite, we had access to the Club Lounge. The staff there was completely welcoming and kept offering both food and drink. Actually the staff all over the hotel was wonderful. We had the breakfast buffet in the restaurant and that was also very impressive. Lots of food variety as well as an omelet to order station. Very impressive hotel, stay here if you're flying out of Warsaw!!

This place turned what could have been a dull layover into a fabulous mini-vacation, and honestly, I'm upset it wasn't longer. The rooms? Oh, the rooms! It's as if Andy Warhol came back, grabbed some paint, and said, "Let's make this fun." Every corner felt creative and chic, like I was crashing an art exhibit but with comfier furniture. The gym and pool were also a nice touch, offering just the right amount of zen before heading back to the chaos of airports and security lines. But let me tell you, the star of the show was the executive lounge. The lovely lady running the place deserves a medal. She welcomed every guest like we were royalty and somehow managed to meet everyone's requests with a smile that could light up the terminal. For those feeling adventurous, there's a bus stop nearby to whisk you into the city. We took Ubers because they're super cheap, but let me save you the trouble: book this hotel if you're stuck in Warsaw for a night. You'll be wishing your layover was an actual vacation.

Market they don't have frozen meals like in the US but they offer snacks and beverages at a discounted price than the what's in the mini bar. Free Wifi throughout the hotel -- no password. Brasserie restaurant for breakfast (buffet & a la crate), lunch, and dinner. The rooms are a bit of the throwback to 1970s Europe business travel. It has everything you need desk, bed, easy chair, tea/coffee service, mini bar, etc. -- all very well maintained. The BEST thing -- walking over to the airport with baggage to check while the my carry ons were in my room. It's much nicer to wait in a hotel room than an airport. The BAD - I get that it's Europe so when you take the key out of the wall slot to leave the room all the lights go out. But if the TV stays on can they figure out a way to leave one outlet on so computers, iPads, phones, etc can charge?!?!!!?

Our early departure prevented us from trying the breakfast (served starting at 6am), but it looked classy. The only downside was when the concierge called for a taxi - whatever company they called never showed up. The hotel offers a regularly-departing shuttle to the airport, which is only a few minutes away, but we were running late for our early-morning flight. They called a second cab though, and it came. There may have been some miscommunication, because the front desk staff suggested we would give the cab-driver our room number, and the cost would be added onto the room charge. However the cab driver was not aware of this (to the extent we could communicate, not speaking Polish), and it was clear we needed to pay the cab driver directly. Cab issues aside, we were very satisfied with our hotel and would happily book here again.
