I knew I would be arriving before the official check-in time of 3 pm so I was willing to pay for an extra night but the booking agent said that was not necessary. When we arrived the room was not ready and no one was aware of the early check-in rule. A quick chat with the manager and we were allowed to check in early. Aside from that, the room was great. Room service was fantastic. The bellman was beyond helpful. He even offered to run to the pharmacy for me, which I declined, but his offer was very kind as it was raining. I will definitely book with them again.

Yes we had the lock on but guess it doesn't work. So they closed it quickly and I thought at first I was dreaming than a second time they opened the door. Went to see who it was and it was 2 housekeepers with the night front desk person. Not really wanting make too big of an issue I waiting until morning and was given a really stupid story and excuse. They tried to upgrade us again which I did not care to do. I explained that the US is telling people not to travel to Sinaloa especially Culiacun and the experience of someone opening your door only makes the warning even more heightened.

This particular location is brand new, and all the furnishings are in great condition. The style is modern industrial. This particular location on the river walk (Malecón) has some restaurants right outside, and is within walking distance of several convenience stores and a shopping center across the river. There is some average coffee provided in the morning in the lobby. I prefer the Andatti coffee at the Oxxo just down the street on the plaza in front the university. The beds are a firm, but good pillows are provided. There is no pool, fitness center or room service, but there are businesses and restaurants nearby which have delivery. I was pleased with my stay.
