We walked in from the Camino, having reservations through our travel agency and we were greeted right away with friendly and welcoming invites. From walking on the premises, we were very impressed. Beautiful and clean, charming, classic style with a pleasant modern touch. Check-in was easy, quick and we were informed of the location of all amenities; spa, indoor pool, garden, restaurant and bar. Our room and bath was spacious and clean. All very comfortable and relaxing after a 15+ mile day hike. We had dinner included in our reservation and we were very impressed with the quality, presentation and taste of our starters, entrees and dessert. The entire staff were very friendly and helpful ( language barrier ) we enjoyed the beautiful atmosphere of the dinning room looking out into the garden. This is a wonderful gem in the village Golegã. Our best hotel yet on the Camiho Portuguese. read more
