Stayed for a night with my family of 4 this summer and we loved it. It is perfectly styled for the town and the area, since Ferrari factory is close by. Staff were very nice, we thought the breakfast was good, plenty of choices to choose from and everything was fresh. I would happily stay there again. read more

BLACK MOLD ALERT. October 23, 2024 My wife and I are on my honeymoon in Italy. Because I love Ferrari we did the day of both Ferrari museums followed by a wonderful dinner at Cavallino(highly recommend), then a planned stay at Hotel Maranello Village. We arrived at 3:45 and check in was 3:00. Our room wasn't ready yet. The staff had told us they had a surprise they were getting ready for us on our arrival. We got to the room and immediately we were greeted with a stale musty smell. (The only surprise was a printed photo of the village that said happy honeymoon. Still kind! However didn't need to hold us up) Assuming the air was just stale, we tried turning on the Air conditioning units to recycle some air. Turns out they turn the AC units off for the season prior to our visit. So we opened up the windows. This didn't really help with the smell. We then started to get ready for dinner, and while going to take a shower, we discovered mold covering the shower head, filling the grout between the tiles, and in the cracks of the shower door. It was disgusting and really unsanitary. I went to the desk to express the issue to them. I even asked for a smaller/lesser room to switch into and I'd pay the same price. A gentleman who was working the front desk had told me the entire village was booked and this was not possible. He said the room was just "old" and not moldy. He then offered us breakfast as recompense. No refund or rebook or anything was offered. I still paid full price. After just a few short hours we both started to develop a sore throat, stuffy nose and a cough. We luckily got a reservation elsewhere and left. Please beware! This was not clean! If you are a member of the Tifosi (you can look it up if you are not...) this is a great place to stay while exploring the attractions in and around Maranello. From the full-sized Formula One Ferrari in the lobby to the race-track-named chalets across the property, this is a full-emersion experience. Overall, the room was great - a small apartment with two bedrooms, complete kitchen and even a laundry area. Spotless interior and grounds. Free, gated parking garage if you bring a valuable car to protect and 10 Euro breakfast on site. The breakfast is the only reason for 4 and not 5 stars. The eggs were not very good (a little rubbery) and the sausage (looked like hot dogs) and bacon (limp and weird tasting) unappealing. The coffee machine made OK coffee but the friendly and easily approached waitresses would bring you a barista-quality cup of coffee or other variety as part of the deal. Love Ferrari? I booked this place for New Year's Eve, on the advice of an Italian friend. Big mistake. Mind you, I didn't expect to get a big dinner in the restaurant but hell, the restaurant wasn't even open when we got there at 5pm and would not be open all night. Because of that we wouldn't be able to eat until 8am the next morning! Pathetic! So we left! To go find food we'd have to go back around near the Ferrari museum, which just cost 10 Euros in the taxi to come from (and it was only a 5 minute ride). If this is the way that they treat their customers, then forgot it! I suggest that you stay in Modena because this hotel is in the so-called village, which is like a Disney village without the fun and food or anything else. read more

The main positive thing here in my opinion is the reception Desk.. It's made out of a real formula 1 car! :-) The rest of the accomodation is Pretty boring. The restaurant looks very uninviting, so didn't eat there. I only stayed for one night, so No real experience with hotel services and so on. read more

Never used the Hotel, but almost every week I'm at the Restaurant. It isn't a real restaurant, but something like a cafeteria with freshly prepared foods. You can find different sized salads and even request your own mix. 3 to 4 pasta recipes are always ready. You get two different prices for pasta, if you pay more...you get a way better taste! Also you have seconds dishes, like meat or fish on fridays. Side dishes are available but don't expect a big portion, you get baked patatoes, cowliflowers, or mixed gilled vegetables. One great option is the pizza. great value for the price, quick serving times, made in italian style right when you order it. Warm and cold drinks are available, and also wines or draft beer but they are quite expensive, better stick to a bottle of water. Prices are ok, tables are always clean but beware, it can get crowded from 12.30 to 13.30 during the working break. read more
