This particular hotel though is definitely not up to modern standards anymore. They don't even guarantee WiFi outside of the reception area. The bungalows are too small an look aged and not maintained well. The hotel is really strict about it's stupid policies concerning assigning tables for dining and pool chairs. You have no say so. And when you ask questions they are rude and lie to you! Unless your familiar with some of their weird polices and expect rudeness - don't go.

The bar has sandwiches available for lunch or you can head over to a few nearby locations. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport in Olbia and easily accessible by taxi or shuttle. Taxi and shuttles cost about the same,. however the quality of car and driver will vary. The dinner menu is mostly a fixed surf and turf with appetizer, first and second course, and dessert. Cost is above average for dinner but extremely convenient if you spend all day on a sea excursion and/or at the beach. Within a 15 minute walk you can enjoy another couple of beaches frequented by locals. Most are similar to the private hotel beach. The white sand and turquoise water is mainly off the island and all water is extremely clear and vibrant with life. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you arrive early, you can park your bags in the lobby and enjoy the pool, beach, excursion, etc without interuption. I recommend arriving early and making plans as some flight options arrive at night wasting a day. Extremely relaxing, extremely nice amenities, rooms are nice, beds are a bit stiff but the blankets are locally sourced stitched quilts. View is amazing. And convenience of snorkeling is incomparable.
