For what was supposed to be a four-star hotel, we are very disappointed. We got in around 6 PM only…read moreto find the garage parking full. They told us we could park across the street in the public parking lot, but it was 17 euro versus 13 in the hotel. No suggestion of compensation. In the morning when we tried to leave at 10:30, they had just started their annual marathon in the streets, Lucky us! I'm still waiting to be able to leave because the parking garage and all the streets around us are closed. I'm guessing this could have been something they would've told us last night when we checked in. That combined with a very warm room and a waiter that told us seating was"impossible" last night only to find a few empty seats at the bar. OK, so I'm never coming to Cuenca again, but you might think about staying somewhere else. Just saying.
