The day manager leads the team by example as the day and afternoon/evening team are so very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. They go out of their way to make you comfortable. The breakfast is also the best in the city. Lupita will make eggs to order better than you can yourself. There is a fresh tortilla bar where they make tortillas every morning. The wait team are so kind and take care of you every time. The breakfast bar is extensive! Many local dishes available and a huge selection of fruit including papaya, pineapple, berries and melon. Cereal, breads, beans meats, pancakes, mole' (excuse the spelling). If you have status, there is a free managers welcome from 6-8 daily where I have dinner and drinks most of the time. The location is a $4 Uber ride to the historical center. It is a 20-30 minute walk to the aqueduct or the historical center. The decor is a little dated and could use a restoration but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are large. The view from the city side is spectacular. I highly recommend this location

The breakfast buffet is incredible. There is a great variety of breakfast and lunch items. There is even a lady that makes fresh tortillas and then uses those tortillas to make delicious tacos. For dinner, the restaurant has a great selection. Tonight, I started with the Aztec Soup and followed it with the Grilled Half Chicken. Both were superbly cooked and flavorful. I washed dinner down with a bottle of Victoria beer and Don Julio tequila. The restaurant staff is also as friendly and attentive as the hotel staff.
