However, I wish the hotel staff were more efficient and friendly. The housekeeping team is inconsistent, often forgetting basic amenities (this time the iron was missing and the phone was totally disconnected from the wall of no way plugging it back in) and leaving the room less than clean. That shouldn't be the case at a hotel of this caliber. One ongoing issue I've experienced across multiple stays is the lack of water in the gym. Every single time I've been here, there's no water available. I've had to call the front desk about it multiple times, and once even approached a housekeeper--an older gentleman--who just shrugged his shoulders as if to say, "I don't care." That was particularly frustrating after running five miles. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff training and accountability. This hotel has so much potential given its prime location, but the service standards need attention.

They have a beautiful pool and sauna and exercise room. The breakfast is pretty standard. The rooms are very nice. The showers are very nice too. I feel like I'm heading to the spa. Yeah they're a little funny to figure out at first but once you notice where the buttons are for starting the shower it's pretty damn cool. Excuse me while I take another shower. Good pressure. Enjoy breakfast in your room if you can't get to the main restaurant for breakfast. They call it continental but it's nothing like continental in the US. There's always eggs and bacon and sausage. Yummy pastries and freshly made pancakes or other breakfast treats. Cereals, fresh fruits and lots of cheese, meats and freshly made breads. Fresh fruits are at the door are waiting for you as you exit for the day. There is a solarium, sauna, tanning bed and wonderful jacuzzi. The only drag was the workout room since the equipment is really dated but for a quick bike workout, it'll do. Not a deal breaker though since there is an awesome park across the street for walking, running or biking. WiFi is not free but for 15 euros for 24 hour time limit is not bad. The WiFi is good for 3 months and well worth it if you can stand to stay in your room for that long to use it since there are so many wonderful sights, restaurants and the hotel bar that crave your attention.

No jacuzzi or hot tub at this hotel in this spa town. The pics show a spacious twin room with balcony and comfy chair. Reality: rather ordinary room with a window overlooking a tree, not the promised park or garden. And a hard chair with tiny table. The shower varies from warm to cold to scalding hot unexpectedly. Overpriced for a modest room. But it's very clean.
