While the hotel is in the best location in town, bar none and it was once a gorgeous renovated palace, today it is very tired and in dire needs of freshening up. Compared to other NH hotels, it is subpar: rooms are lacking spare blankets (available upon request), valet, bathrobes. We had to request sheets to be changed as they were stained. Service is adequate, nothing more. No recognition of frequent/repeat guests. All of this will make me find alternative accommodations next time I am in the area. I cannot recommend it. read more
