The Orbis Cracovia Hotel in Cracow is a typical Socialist 1960s business hotel. It is fairly big and located in a slight distance to downtown Cracow, but it's easy to go downtown by using the tram.
The lobby is very roomy, and a big restaurant and a (rather small) bar are at your service. The rooms however, are quite cramped (at least for an up-to-date hotel for businesspeople) and are equipped with slightly worn furniture, which seems to habe been made in the Communist era. When I was there for the last time (in 2006), there was no WLAN in the rooms.
There are still two big advantages of the Orbis Cracovia Hotel: The rooms are very quiet, and the room rates are moderate. read more
