Pousada Kalimantan is a full service beach front resort in Ubatuba at Praia do Sapê, next door to…read morethe well known Praia da Lagoinha. Rooms are comfortable and the service is excellent, right down to chairs and umbrellas on the beach. They have three restaurants, a traditional Brazilian restaurant, a Pizzaria, and a Sushi restaurant. We've tried the traditional Brazilian and the Sushi restaurant. Both were very good and an excellent value. This is a family resort. We saw many three generation families, from grandparents to grandchildren, enjoying their time together. We found it through Hotels.com while looking for a beachfront resort in Ubatuba. It's just short of all inclusive. A Brazilian breakfast buffet is included, though other meals are added to your check based on what you order. The major drawback is the last half mile of access to the resort on a washboard road.
