This hotel is also a casino so that floor is loud. The rest of the hotel however is nice and quiet. The rooms are a good size and sometimes for just a little more you can upgrade to a suite. Each room is super clean and is ready when promised. Make a reservation. It gets crowded on some weekends and during the summer. We love everything about the hotel. The service is great and they will get you into a wonderful clean room. They are not huge, but they are great. The bathrooms are well stocked and they have bottled water in the room, which you need. They also have great food and again, the service is so good. You can stay there and never leave, but don't do that. Grab a cab and get a wonderful dinner near by. Back at Hotel Pueblo Amigo Plaza Casino for round two, and it was just as great! This time, I stayed on the busier Friday before Labor Day, and the place was packed. The team was clearly hustling with the crowd, but they still delivered excellent service. Got upgraded to a Junior Suite on the ninth floor for a small price difference--worth it! The suite was a step up from the standard room with better views, a faster WiFi connection, and extra toiletries like a shaving kit, shoe polish, and more. Plus, they had a Samsung smart TV, which should honestly be standard in all hotels. Check-out is a breeze at noon--just drop the keys in the box, and you're good. Loved the bag check service, so I could explore without dragging my stuff around. Ordered the Original Burger with skinny fries from room service--delicious, but it came wrapped in plastic (I get it, but still). Shoutout to the staff for keeping up with the holiday rush; make sure to tip if they're vibing with you! Definitely coming back! read more

I've stayed here during some of my trips to baja. It is located north of the Tijuana river, adjacent to the Ready and Sentri lanes that lead back to the United States. This hotel modern, clean, and staffed decently. There is a casino on the main floor, and the rooms are on the periphery, which each floor having a clear-cut view of the casino down below. As far as noise, I didn't encounter many issues with loud noises at night. However, my main issue with this hotel is that room service is not 24-hours. It stops at 10PM and resumes at 6AM. Granted, there are several hotels that do this, but for the type of establishment that it presents itself to be, you'd figure they would have some options for food/snacks after-hours. The area around this place is ok. There is security there keeping an eye on the hotel and parking. The people I saw hanging around this area looked like normal people, no shady characters around. One other drawback I do have to point out is the relative scarecity of taxis/ubers in this part of town. Plan accordingly. While I have my favorite places to stay when I go to baja, I don't mind staying at this hotel as one of my alternate options. read more

Accommodations are fine. Expected a non-smoking hotel not to smell like cigarettes when first walking into lobby. In hotel restaurant has horrible food. $27 for breakfast Buffett is pricy so didn't try. Not coming back. read more

Been coming here for over 10 years. They have the best customer service. Balthazar, Juan Carlos, Martin, and Oscar always treat us like family. The rooms are always very clean. If you need a ride to somewhere local they are able to take you. This is literally the only place we like to stay because its never failed us. Pretty much everyone knows us and feel very welcomed everytime. If you are looking for something worth every penny this is the place. The buffet food is really good, the drinks are good, the casino is in the downstairs area. Would recommend this place!!! read more
