Le Hôtel du Styvel is ideally situated on the marina at Camaret-sur-mer, giving several of its dozen rooms a beautiful view of the boats and popular wooden Boardwalk. It's an easy walk to the beach, historic structures, the rest of the city's businesses, and the artists galleries. Our late afternoon arrival was met with an indifferent reception (as if we were intruding on housekeeping tasks being done to prepare the restaurant for the evening). Later in our visit, we were treated very graciously and helpfully by other staff members. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast, (we sat outside) was juice, coffee, croissants, and baguette, all delicious and served w butter and preserves by a very pleasant waitress.
