The restaurant was not particularly busy. We noticed that the wait staff were speaking Italian with many other diners, which is usually a good sign that you are in an authentic and high-quality "ethnic" restaurant. Besides Italian and German, our waiter that night also spoke English when he overheard us speaking to each other at the table.

We ordered a salmon steak with a side of roasted rosemary potatoes, spaghetti carbonara, and another noodle dish made with pesto sauce. The portions were generous and our respective meals were all tasty and satisfying. When the waiter brought the check, he came carrying a tray with three pours of complimentary herbal liquor, too!
Even for someone not too keen on Italian food like myself, I admit I liked this place. If I am ever back in town, I would probably go back.
