The cooks would bring out bread, ricotta cheese, milk, and pastries. The rooms use old school medival keys. The walk ways, parking lot, pathways, and driveways are made of small stones. Smells like cows since the location is on a ranch, and if you're new to the area, namely foreigners, be sure to bring bug repellent or you'll be eaten alive by mosquitoes. I came home with nearly 10 bites per arm and leg. Dining at night we had wine, more cheese, salumi, and other finger food. We mostly ate at other ristorantes since this was for a week long wedding celebration. Nice interesting little place quite far from the mecca city. About 2 1/2 hours south of Rome, and 1 hour from Naples. Beautiful scenic drive along the hills and coast to get here. Nearby are small little shops and a little town.

The service , the warmth and the conversation all like being at home. The pastry , coffee and fruit in the morning was fresh and warm and yummy. The rooms were cozy and had all you needed. The views were breathtaking .Even our housekeepers were friendly and accommodating. The cozy little courtyard in the front of the room was so relaxing and welcoming. We love the food and the teams at the restaurants take very good care of all the details. Yesterday, we had a few spa treatments ... and today, we will get a salt scrub and massage. The spa is beautiful and very special too. I recommend their unique spa experience for everyone staying here ... plan on a few treatments in advance. It's worth it. Thankfully a friend told us to come here or we never would have known about it. It took a few hours by train to get here from Rome and we stayed four days which is a nice amount of time to explore and enjoy the property. I love it! From the minute we were scooped up at the train station in our little golf cart ... the team here has really made every part of our visit something special to remember.
