He ensured that it was quick because I was double parked in front of the hotel. I really appreciated that we were only charged one nightly pet fee instead of two for both of our dogs (something that the NH Hotel in Marseille could learn from, ahem). Check out was also straight forward and easy. Positives for the room: We paid for an upgraded double room to have additional space for our 4 night stay. The room was a decent size and had a fair amount of storage for suitcase and other items. We also appreciated having a minibar fridge so that I could store some cheese to give to my dogs with their heart medication. I also liked having a robe provided. Negatives for the room: The bed was not comfortable at all and my husband and I had difficulty sleeping throughout our stay because of it. In addition, the heater in the bathroom was extremely loud and also kept us awake. The flooring in front of the bathroom was quite worn as well. The breakfast was OK with a huge selection of bread, sliced meats and cheese, fruit, pastries, and some hot options (although again, my husband would have liked to be able to order an omelet.) The hotel formerly allowed dogs in the dining area but after complaints, they set up an area in front of the dining room where we could sit with our dogs, which was very much appreciated. I would recommend that the hotel allowed guests to reserve a parking space for a fee. Although it was not an issue for us because we were traveling during the off-season, I could see this being an issue during peak periods, especially since there is limited on street parking and I did not see any lots near the hotel. The location is 5 minutes from the highway and 10-15 minute walk to the city center. There is both a Carrefour and Mercadona within 1/2 block of the hotel.
