I stayed for two nights at this hotel while attending the Bayreuther Festspiele. It is a business…read moreclass hotel with a extensive breakfast buffet, as common with most hotels of this size in Germany. Everything was very basic, I recall WiFi was available. The rooms are also air conditioned which can be a welcome feature as there was unusually hot weather during the festival this past summer. I was traveling with other travelers from the United States, some of whom found the individual twin beds on the smaller size. If you are attending the festival, the rooms do come with a pants press but you have to ask for or bring your own iron (with proper voltage converters.)
Its located in a residential part of Bayreuth,10-15 minute walk to the train station, historic sites and restaurants in the old town and the Festival theater (which is an uphill walk.)
