This one was pretty standard for most Mecures. The rooms were spacious enough, clean and comfortable. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was pretty good. I had the schnitzel and it was good. The rooms are spacious by European standards, the employees were all very welcoming and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant is a very nice buffet of traditional German foods with plenty of choices for carnivore and vegetarians alike. I would definitely stay here again if I were to ever again be in town. Ps. A great town to visit beautiful waterfront walkway and cobble stones streets in the village. All this plus a great castle to tour too.

Now, they told us everything had changed. True. It became worse. In my life, I have never seen any such service. I got myself a Latte Macciaccto, and 20 of our workshop attendants wanted to get one too - the servant said "go to the bar and get it, I am not your servant". Bye bye Contel, we will not miss you...." That aside, we were brutally overcharged. They even used my credit card without my permission. This is one of the few hotels we had our event in where the best recommendation I can give is "please do not go". Not for a meal, not for a night - and sure not for any kind of event.
