We also did the pick up service from the airport and the drive was very pleasant in a top of the line Mercedes. We stayed in Room 403, and our room had a bath with a shower and also, a stand alone shower. The toilet was in its own separate room. The view from the room faced out onto an inner courtyard. Room included: a Nespresso machine, coffee cups and glasses, a stocked mini bar fridge, a safe, robes and slippers, and iron with ironing board. We loved the regal look of our room and the high majestic ceilings. The bed was super comfortable after our long days sightseeing. Hotel is ideally situated within walking distance from Old Town, a short ten minute walk. They also do have turn down service at night, which left us sweet little chocolates on the bed. At night, we also loved unwinding by heading down to the hotel sauna, which is included in the room rate. When booking the room, we chose to include the breakfast. Can't recommend the breakfast enough as it's world class. Katerina, our waitress on most of our stay, was just a sweetheart and by the second day even had our drink order memorized--wow!! The breakfast buffet includes: scrambled eggs, sunny side up eggs, bacon, sausages, variety of breads, fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, deli meats, dried fruit and nuts, coffee, fruit juices, etc. My only complaint was for somebody very sensitive to smells, the hotel uses cleaning products that are very strong. I did express my concern after we checked in and asked them not to use the products when vacuuming our room. After that, I aired out the room, and wasn't as reactive. It's something to keep in mind if you're as sensitive/allergic as I am. Other than this one complaint, we absolutely loved this hotel and would choose it again when visiting Prague!

The concierge and all the staff really went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed. Hailing a taxi for our very early flight? Done. Wake-up call even earlier than that? Done. Calling the airport multiple times to track down our luggage? Done and with updates regularly. They are just so helpful and polite. We had hit a rough patch in our travels but staying at the Clarion really put things back in balance and you can't say that about every hotel and especially hotels under a name brand. Our room was very nice, tidy, and clean. When we first got in, they even prepared a map of the city and brochures for nearby dining. On top of all of that was a nice fruit platter which was very welcome coming from Italy and not really eating any veggies or fruits at all, oops! In the room at the top floor you'll find a cable to hook up into the internet, or you can use their wi-fi. There is ample closet space for your belongings. The restroom has a raised bath so you have to be conscious of that. One of the best features of the room is the balcony. On our last night at Clarion, there were fireworks going off outside and the balcony is the perfect place to view them right over the river. Also, Clarion has complimentary breakfast and the dining area is spacious, clean and very inviting. In the states you expect a bagel and coffee and some hot items if you're lucky. At the Clarion in Prague there was all sorts of options and plenty of choices including multiple traditional Czech sausage dishes, bacon, a fruits and salad bar, and poached eggs. There's a grains bar where you can customize your own cereal with pumpkin seeds and numerous other options for your breads. There were scones, danishes, and other sweets too. They even have fresh juice and an espresso machine and that was all very welcome. The Clarion also has an area for thai massages and I wish we could have taken advantage of it but nevertheless the prices were very reasonable. However, the best thing about the hotel has to be the location. It is a brisk walk away from the huge Palladium shopping center where they have H&M and pretty much any store you can think of. Old town square is a 5 minute walk away as well as the Charles Bridge and other attractions. Definitely had a great stay at Clarion and I thank them for all they did!

The hotel boasts 90 practically designed rooms with en-suite bathrooms (small tub in every one), mini-bar, tea/coffee making facilities and free wifi. The lobby is a bit small, however you can spend a pleasant time at the Benada restaurant which is not just another boring hotel restaurant but a good place to have a dinner as well. The staff is very helpful and organized. They could smile a bit more but that is not a popular feature on Czech faces.

Not much consideration with the noise for the other guests. Music played late and so loud the walls literally shook in our room.

This boutique hotel is all that it is and more. We were welcomed by drinks (cappuccino for me), while others had champagne. Our rooms weren't ready yet, so they stored our luggage and went exploring. We had two rooms and thankfully they were right next to each other. The rooms were cute and quaint, though a bit small. The design and decor were simple, but it works. Although, the bathroom/shower were all tinted glass and felt a bit weird using the toilet while my partner is showering. I'd wish they had a few more hooks for towels and robes. I do have to say, their toiletries are top notch! I loved the scent of the wash and the lotion. They even offered a lavender spray mist for bed time. Complimentary breakfast for us and it was in this cute indoor/outdoor courtyard. They had a made-to-order menu and then there is a buffet of pastries, fruits, and lighter breakfast items. The service was impeccable and always at your service, very attentive. I used the wellness area a few times for the sauna and steam room. The gym is quite small with a bike, some weights, and perhaps a treadmill? I didn't use it, so I don't remember. The spa room turns on in the evening at 1600hours, unless you ask them to turn it on at a specific time. Their sauna and steam room works extremely well, it's super hot! I had to cool off in the jacuzzi! **Note: EU jacuzzi are cooler, more like warm, than US versions. Overall, loved that we stayed here and had a great time. Also, the train station is about 7 min walk from the hotel!

I booked via Booking.com which can be hit or miss - but this did NOT disappoint. This is a beautiful and historic hotel and the staff are top notch. The rooms are cozy but the high ceilings makes it feel spacious. My last 2 hotels had all been awkward suites so I was very happy in my room which had everything I needed. The daily cleaning staff was good at replenishing the tea I drank and I loved the assortment of chocolates that welcomed me. The shower /tub was a bit awkward but otherwise everything else was great. The room was quiet, the temperature easy to control - without a lot of noise with heaters / fans clicking on and off and very nice bedding, towels and thoughtful touches like slipper, robes and toothbrush. The morning breakfast is wonderful! All the staff that I encountered were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend staying here and since I already have a return flight back to Praha in a few months, am very tempted to stay here again!
