This place was amazing. I would definitely stay here all the time cause it's so cozy and so quiet out here. It's definitely more of a place to escape the world and just relax. The spa was phenomenal. The massage I got there was worth it and the amenities and there were beautiful. The villa that we stayed in was so cute and it was so safe where we stayed. Everyone that worked there was so nice. We even did a wine tour, and the lady that ran it was my favorite person in the world there she was so nice every day she saw us in the morning she would greet us and she was amazing. The food there at the restaurant whether it was breakfast lunch or dinner was just all amazing. The views here were also gorgeous. I just fell in love with this place. read more

So. We went to this place for a week and we loved it. Its very old and there is a lot of ambiance here. The rooms are very clean en the staff is very helpfull. One guy behind the reception in particular. Het pointed out 4 restaurants wich we must try and they where all very good. If you are looking for some romance in a nice location, go check this out. There are a few downsides to this place. Its not suitable for kids because there isn't anything to do. Its in the middle of September and they already closed the outside pool :S and for the inside pool you will need a bathing cap. But wait. I want to give a shoutout to the cleaning ladies. They did an incredible Job. Thanks! read more
I've stayed in some grimey European hotels and this was an absolute delight! The place is old and beautiful. I love the inside/outside hallways. And it's sooooo clean. I didn't see one cobweb on those high ceilings. Seriously it's hard to keep old clean and they did an amazing job. I am here with a group so I can't speak of the price but the amenities are good, a spa with limited hours and 2 restaurants. Breakfast is offered and it is very Americanized as I have never been offered scrambled eggs in Europe continentally so that started my day off right! Ask for room 106. It's just like the other rooms but much bigger with so many full length windows and a nice big shower. Close to a small little town with a few shops and restaurants which are a short walk away! I recommend this place highly!!! read more

Hotel Villa Casagrande is the most amazing hotel I've ever stayed at. I stayed here for about a week summer of 2017. I usually don't leave positive reviews, but I still think about that vacation and this hotel all the time so I figured I'd write a review! I would highly recommend booking this hotel, dining in the hotel's kitchen (for some amazing Italian food) and checking out the quaint nearby town. read more

This is a great place to stay! We were here as a group for a week and absolutely loved it. The space is kind of quirky but very very unique once you learned your way around the villa. A few hidden gems about the place that I did not discover until the very last two days. There is a tour of the villa which allows you to see some of the original living quarters in the villa which are spectacular. Also, behind the restaurant next to the garden is a beautiful little chapel. My room was very very clean, and comfortable. Twelve people in my group signed up for Anna's cooking school, which was probably one of my very favorite things about the trip. Anna is delightful as is her assistant. The food was amazing as was the ambiance of the old kitchen and dining space. I highly recommend signing up for this. Check-in staff great and very friendly. Only issue was some of the waitstaff in the restaurant were a bit rude and made snide comments to guests; especially in the morning a older guy was a nasty person. read more
