We passed on starters because we didn't think we could hold any so we went straight for a dinner course. I ordered this braised beef in a light gravy with potatoes and root vegetables and the husband had the chicken with something he had trouble describing with something other than "it was good". Insert caveman grunt here....
For dessert, we chose a cheese plate that had the richest and most delicious cheeses I've ever had. Simply amazing!
The decor is first class and we were almost shocked to see real candles burning on the tables. If there was a negative or downside to report, the only think I can say is why ask me if I have a reservation when one one table out of 30 is occupied.
