One of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in so far! It was beautiful. The staff was extremely helpful as there was an issue with the booking and card on file and they handled it greatly. Room was spotless and I felt very comfortable inside, had a great view of Lake Ontario. Truly a 10/10 experience for the time I was there.

OMG, this hotel experience far exceeded my expectations. My family of 4 stayed at the Hotel X Toronto by Library Hotel Collection for 4 nights in June 2024. Every element of the experience - front desk staff, concierge services, quality of the room & view, amenities, housekeeping, shuttle service, pool reservations, etc. was spectacular. This hotel experience restored my faith in the service industry, and I would absolutely recommend people to give this hotel a try if you're staying in Toronto. Highlights: - Front desk staff goes above and beyond. Francisco, in particular, became my best friend, and it was such a joy to speak with him whenever we had a question or request. He never seemed annoyed even though we had a lot of questions initially. - The quality of the room was the best one could expect. And the views of downtown are breathtaking. - The shuttle service was a game changer. The hotel provides shuttle service to anywhere with 5 km (you have to reserve the shuttle ahead of time), and since the hotel isn't smack in the middle of downtown, it really helped us get a head start on the day and bypass either a 30 minute walk or an Uber to get into town. I could go on and on, but try it for yourself. I can't stop sharing about this hotel.

This hotel is a bit on the pricey side but it's well placed, clean and very inviting The staff were friendly, they have massive conference halls and a trendy style. They have multiple restaurants and a pool on one of the higher floors. The rooms, are huge, clean, comfortable and have great views and sunlight. We were only in for a few short days for a wedding close by.

*This review is strictly a wedding review* I've been to 4 weddings this summer, and this venue was the best out of all of them. It's located near the harbourfront right next to Ontario Place and the ceremony took place on the 4th floor right on the rooftop terrace overlooking Lake Ontario. Cockatil hour was by far the best at this place. The servers kept coming out with full platters of food and the bartenders were super friendly. The drinks were also nicely mixed. Heirloom beet salad: I gotta be honest. While it looked really pretty from a presentation standpoint, this salad just didn't have enough dressing. I did my best to mix everything together to get a harmonious bite but the greens were still dry on the end of every bite. Truffle gnudi: Really tasty but super rich and salty (almost too rich!) LOL. I tried to help my gf polish off hers but the richness piles on quick. Had to take a break in between bites to just let the flavours marinate in my mouth. Beef tenderloin: The beef was perfectly cooked medium rare. The meat cut super smooth just like butter and gravy was a nice touch. Yuzu meringue pie: Great dessert. Sharp citrus of the yuzu balanced out by the sweetness of the meringue and tart shell. Really pretty presentation. The reception bar was twice as impressive as the outdoor bar during cocktail hour and the bartenders were hilarious but also mega talented. My ONE gripe with the whole event would be the ventilation in the reception/dining area which was in the crystal room on the hotel's first floor. While it was certainly beautiful, there was no air conditioning or ventilation whatsoever (I'm not sure if it was just not working that day or if they just don't blow air into that room). Anyways, my gf and I were sat next to the side door and eventually one of the managers came around to open it so that fresh air could blow through but until that point, all of us were boiling because the sun was shining down fully through the transparent glass exterior of the room and it was a 33-35 C day. As soon as the side door was opened, all the guests started applauding loudly lol. Oh yea, and they need to invest in better speakers for weddings as well. The speakers that they provided just kept crackling and crackling with static every 5 words LOL. But this is easily remedied. All in all, this venue is spectacular for weddings.

I stayed here while in Toronto for a business trip. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had spacious conference rooms. The staff was very helpful in setting up the various rooms for our meetings and took care of all the technical connections. The rooms were small and cozy. From my room, I had a gorgeous view of downtown Toronto, with Lake Ontario in the distance. They have a rooftop bar and lounge, where we went to unwind at the end of our busy day. Full bar, great music, and room for dancing.

Two friends recently got married here and it's also where we stayed for their wedding weekend. While the location is a little far from the hustle and bustle of the city, the rooms have some great views, the service was stellar, and overall, it provided a pleasant escape! We arrived at 11:00 am the day of check-in and were SO thankful they let us in our room early. From the get go, service was on point. Throughout the entire check-in process, there was always someone by our side, and the bellhop graciously walked us through all of our room amenities, like the Nespresso coffeemaker, and had ice sent to our room right away because I was in need. Throughout the weekend, no request was too small. Our room was located on the 15th floor and had an amazing view at sunset. Besides that, the bed was very comfy, bathroom large, and it had all the amenities that we needed. The shower pressure was especially remarkable as was... THE GYM. I wasn't really on vacation to workout, but couldn't resist visiting the gym which was so beautiful! It had all the equipment you could possibly want and it all seemed fairly new. The two indoor tennis courts were BEAUTIFUL. I immediately regretted not bringing my racket. For $20, you could also take part in any of the group fitness classes which included yoga and a HIIT class. We tried room service one night which took awhile, but our burger was tasty. We also went to Maxx's for breakfast one morning which again, took a longggg time, but the food was good. It was our first trip away since having our baby, so we also added on the "Romantic Rendezvous" champagne and chocolate covered strawberry option and they were seriously some of the best chocolate covered strawberries I've ever had. All of this doesn't come cheap, but with the exchange rate, it wasn't too bad. The wedding itself was so pretty! I would definitely encourage anyone looking into getting married in Toronto to consider Hotel X. As a guest, it was so convenient to stay where the wedding was taking place, especially in the middle of winter. All in all, I really can't complain about our stay and would definitely look into staying here again if I'm ever in Toronto.

Great modern hotel. Lots of great amenities. Booked this hotel after our holidays in Iceland. A quick stopover in Toronto before heading home. I wanted to view the city and be near downtown. It was pricey but worth it for view & rooftop pool. We stayed for 3 nights. Only really used the rooftop pool, which was amazing had it to myself several times. I wish I had running shoes to use the gym. Our room was clean, spacious bathroom, had a desk, seating area, king size bed was comfy and amazing views. Our reservation included free self underground parking. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Other notables: had a art gallery, a library and rooftop bar and restaurant, also had an arcade while we were there, which my husband enjoyed. It was my husband's 50th birthday, was a nice treat in our room. I liked the location, near highway near downtown, 20 minutes to airport. Overall, great hotel.

This is a great hotel. Luxurious with beautiful views of Toronto and Lake Ontario. The staff is amazing - Jarret at the rooftop bar, Quincy serving poolside and Caitlyn at Valerie were fantastic. The rooftop pool is gorgeous and the staff will extend your slot if they can..and the water is warm. Highly recommend for comfort and proximity to Budweiser Stage! Especially Quincy!

This hotel is the place where you can dream of every possible thing and guess what everything relatable you could get it and they will make it happen. Also not to forget they have one of the best patio/bars with a great view.. when I say great - it's worth more than reading this, I would advise to go and feel it. When they say library collection hotels - they mean it.. you will find books at every nook and not just the look but also you could comfortably sit and read whatever books you would want to. And they got tennis courts and the best and biggest of all the gyms you could think of.

I was swept away for a birthday staycation last week, and I found myself at Hotel X. Funnily, only a few blocks from my house. It was mostly eXcellent. I have a three year old, so I spent a lot of time in their indoor/outdoor roof pool. It has stunning sunset views, and is warm enough to handle the outside portion on a cold April night. This being said, it's not a hot pool, and it will really shine in the summer. The rooms are decent, and I highly recommend paying a bit extra for a corner suite. Either floor to ceiling lake views or floor to ceiling city views, can't go wrong. The in-house snacks were delicious. Not a huge menu, but everything we tasted was delicious. Their desserts were especially beloved by my crew. My issues with the hotel are as follows: +I'm visibly pregnant and I was checking in the same time as a bunch of people in suits who got a lot of help, where as I handled my own luggage. No one offered to help me at all. I presume the staff assumed the business people tip better, they'd be wrong +A bit of a tacky, wannabe influencer crowd taking selfies at every turn. I'm all about pictures of beautiful things (srsly I'm the worst, I take pics of everything), but put away your duck face and actually enjoy the views +If you're not in town for a conference nearby it's a bit of a weird area to explore Toronto on foot, as Torontonians actually do

Staff were very friendly and responsive throughout my stay. I was upgraded to a one bedroom which was welcomed. The room was large and comfortable. Better than the family's last stay in SoCal. The only room issue i had was the location of the in room safe. It was on the top shelf of the closet and the closet door blocked the safe door from opening fully. The other issue was 1 out of 3 elevators was offline the entire stay. It did make the waits a little longer. On the second floor was a very small gym but it did have a multifunction weight gym and cardio equipment. A water dispenser was located here. The heated indoor pool and spa was in the room next door. Breakfast was decent with a rotating menu over my stay. Scrambled eggs, omelettes, pork or turkey sausages, egg bites, seasoned potatoes, etc were some of the hot offerings. Cereals, breads and prepackaged yogurts were some of the cold items. They had both regular and oat milk which was nice. One note was that you have to provide your name and room before being admitted. There was a good amount of seating and was never crowded. In the evening the bar was open. Would come back and stay here again.

They especially enjoyed looking out the large window at the convention center, CN Tower and Lake Ontario. It was also nice having the extra (1.5) bathroom. The beds were very comfortable to sleep on and the housekeeping staff was almost invisible (a good thing). Since we got club level, it was convenient to grab food and snacks in the club lounge. Quite kid friendly, although with toddlers we were a bit self-conscious of our kids being too loud and messy. You can imagine my terror when my 18 month old threw a cup of milk on the lounge carpet. Luckily, the lounge staff is wonderful and welcoming and were very understanding of this mishap. The pool is very nice and heated. A little less picturesque than the St. Regis pool (which is located on a high floor) and smaller than the Shangri-La pool but still very nice. There are other amenities that are good for kids such as a free treasure hunt, complete with a prize at the end. Ritz Kids also has other paid activities that we did not do like baking classes, in-room camping, movie nights and family picnics. The hotel itself is conveniently located near the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, train museum and Rogers Centre. Most of these venues are within 10 minutes walking distance. I think it is also near the underground PATH, that connects many of Toronto's downtown buildings so you can avoid walking outside if so desired. Overall a great luxurious and family friendly hotel in downtown Toronto. Great for families visiting harborfront, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium or Rogers Center.
