After checking in, we wandered around the area (mostly an office park with some eateries and a park) and made it back to our hotel to take advantage of our complimentary drink tickets for being Hyatt members. The hotel was clean and quiet and extremely conveniently located if you're going to the airport. If you're in the area on a day when there is a soccer match at the nearby stadium, you might see a lot of fans milling about the general area.

You can park at any of the other stalls. Parking is additional per day. The room and size are just like how they are in the States. No fridge or microwave, just a water kettle. Complimentary breakfast was included and was the best breakfast I had in all of 15 day Europe trip. Too bad we only stayed her less than 24 hours to be close to the airport. It's 15 minutes driving to the airport. Breakfast had items for Europeans, Americans and even the British. Such as baked beans for the British, meat and cheese for Europeans and the typical continental breakfast and waffles for Americans. Hot items were scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, Nuremberg sausage balls and hash brown potato balls.

It's just 2 blocks away from the South entrance - which you should use because it's closer and safer. Most the homeless drug addicts seem to congregate in the street in front of the main entrance. We had a superior best view room with a superb view of the Frankfurt skyline. The room was small, basic and the fittings were a little dated. The bathroom was small but functional and we loved the rainshower. We arrived very early and we were very happy that the reception staff allowed us to check into our room straight away. The area around the hotel seems really safe, but if you want to eat or shop nearby you have to head towards the dodgy Hauptbahnhof. The bed was super comfortable so this is a good value option for a short stay near the Hauptbahnhof!

We had a late arrival which was complicated slightly by the main entrance not being assessable due to road construction. Check in was good but the technology in the room was not explained so we had issues navigating some of the basic features of the room (such as the phone to call the from desk to say our tv was not working). The bathroom is small and there is nowhere to hang your housecoat when taking a shower. Water pressure was adequate, and there were two sinks, which is nice. There are a lot of closets but very little room to hang longer items as most of that space is taken up by the ironing board. We added breakfast to our room and it was buffet and a la carte so you can order eggs if you wish. Service staff was outstanding, every person we encountered was genuinely friendly and helpful. Location is very good, close to shopping and a good selection of restaurants and cafes. Rooms are expensive considering the size and amenities, but I would still there again.

Getting from the Frankfurt Airport to the hotel was really easy and relatively cheap (at least cheaper than taking a cab). - There are several restaurants and stores nearby in this neighbourhood. I got in pretty late so I wasn't able to go out. - Free wifi that worked really well. - Bathroom was a good size. - The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the historic Römerberg, which is worth checking out if you've got the time. - The price is decent for a basic hotel. It think I paid about $70 (that's Canadian so that's like 46 Euros) for the night. My room had one single bed. Not so good points - The neighbourhood, while being close to the train station and having stores and restaurants nearby was a little sketchy...at least at night. - The hotels is getting some renovations done, so on the outside it was a little hard to tell where the entrance was. I think I walked past it the first time when checking in. - There is a continental breakfast, but it's a bit expensive. I went somewhere else for breakfast. - The bed is a single bed, which is fine, but it wasn't super comfortable. For a one night layover this hotel was ok, and I certainly slept better than if I spent 17 hours at the airport. If I was spending anymore time in Frankfurt I'd probably look to stay somewhere else.

Check in went smooth. We arrived around 11 am and were wiped out from our long flight from the US. They were able to put us in a room right away. Thank you! Our room was a nice size for our needs. It has a comfy king bed, a desk, a kitchenette, full en-suite and plenty of storage space. The staff has been quite pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was an amazing buffet with a large selection of drinks and hot and cold foods. Loved it. Tomorrow night, our last, we will do a load of laundry. In a room off the parking floor (-1) is the laundry room. It has 2 each, washers and dryers. They take tokens which are available at the front desk. Located in the city center, I'd recommend this Residence in the any traveler.

We were able to wash up before starting our day with the hop on hop off bus. Carolina at the front desk was helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and very kind during our check in. All the staff at the hotel were all accommodating and friendly. Breakfast buffet was delicious - everyday. We highly recommend this hotel.
