(We mostly stay in cabins or…read moreairbnb) but since we have a timeshare points expiring soon, we decided to come stay in this hotel and it turns out to be a great stay. One of the main reason that made this a great stay is that they have a full kitchen with all cooking essentials, since a lot of restaurants in the alps have short opening hours, plus they are mostly just very salty for our taste. In general, it seems to me that all the cold countries generally have more salty food comparing to the US. It was just good to be able to cook and eat in our room with family after being out cold for the full day. We come with a group of five that our rooms comes with 2 2-joint double beds and a sofa bed. So it was very spacious for us even with all the suitcases we have. The hotel also has a sauna, a pool, a American size pool table and a gym. The robes are available from the front desk, while the sauna room and shower are in the a co-ed nude zone, (very European for me.) All the amenities areas are very clean and well kept. And they even have a room for your gear storage which they lock it at night. It was a very comfortable stay with great views and amenities, about 5 to 10 min drive to ski lift. And another 5 min walk from a grocery called billa, 3 to 5 min walk from ski rental. Very accessible and convenience. Would recommend this place if you are in this area. Tips: don't dry your washed clothes outside on the balcony or you with get a frozen piece of cloth next morning. XP (drying rack is also available inside the room)

There were many breakfast options including savory and sweet items, a fabulous coffee machine, & a large bright breakfast room to enjoy it all in. I loved the fact they did a whole basket of laundry for €10.00! After two weeks of traveling and one trip to a laundromat in Munich, this was a huge treat! The staff is incredible and the owners are very involved in the day to day operation of the hotel. They have succeeded in striking a perfect balance between being small enough to know all their guests and interact with them and being big enough to have all the comforts of a 5 star Hotel. In the winter you can use their ski rental service and buy your lift tickets through them. The ski bus, which is free of charge, stops across the street to take you to the Schmitten bottom station. I f there is enough snow, you can ski down from the hotel to another Gondola, called CityExpress and ski right back to the Hotel by taking the Ski way next to the Schmitten bottom station. Of course before you ski, you need a good breakfast which they do very well, including a fresh egg/omelet station, after skiing they offer Après Ski snacks and then Dinner is phenomenal.

They offered a discount to their restaurant for staying with them, but it didn't entice us enough to try. Great continental breakfast with a view though. Looked up the translation for the hotel name afterwards out of curiosity... turns out it's "Four Seasons". Funny! Definitely a little too rustic to be the Four Seasons that you're probably thinking of.. but it was just what we were looking for.

Yes, you need air conditioning even in the spring. Most hotels in this area don't have AC. If that's important to you, which it should be, look around. I spent three sleepless sweaty nights here in early June 2025. They always serve you warm water. Not a fault of the hotel, it's a European thing. Service couldn't have been better. The workers were so kind and accommodating. Included breakfast was great. Europeans cannon fry bacon. It's just a fact. It's very conveniently located near the town and bus stop.
