Absurdly expensive and pricing is handled in a dishonest way…read more Their cheapest plan is: $43/month But then it costs $60 to enroll and there's an annual fee of $39 due 60 days after enrollment. Furthermore you must pay the first and last month's dues when you signup. That means your initial cost will be $146 with the second month being $84. That doesn't even include taxes (I presume). Just make it a clear monthly cost and leave it that. Still, crazy pricing. CMU offers an alumni membership for $30 last I checked to anyone who has completed even 1 course. CMU has a *MASSIVE* pool. Not a measly 2-3 lanes like this one. And Planet Fitness is roughly $30/month so I hear. Why would you pay for an absurdly expensive gym like this when better options exist for less?

Equipment always works and I almost never have to wait for something to be available. Staff is helpful and not overbearing. I havent checked out the classes so Im not sure how they are. Only improvement points are that the sauna could be hotter and the steam room sensor needs adjusting. For 40 a month this spot is a steal.

If I could give no stars, I would. Visiting from out of town for a couple days the week of 29 May…read more2023. Called ahead to see if they offer guest passes. A woman said if I stopped by between 10-4 I could get a guest pass. She did not say my workout would need to be done during these hours. About 15 minutes later, I arrive at the gym. They guy who answers the bell is immediately defensive when I asked about the guest pass. He told me I could workout only during 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Well it was already after 3 p.m. so not really time for me to get a workout in. He tells me they have rules and normally do not allow people from out of town to work out in the gym. Said they have been having problems with "people." I mentioned to him that I worked out an Anytime Fitness in Myrtle Beach while I was there a couple months ago - and they provided me with a key once I paid a deposit (which was returned to me when I returned the key). I offered him a $30 deposit for the key, which he could keep if I failed to return the key. He told me he would not give me a key if I gave him $100. He does not know me and I am not from town. I was speaking to him calmly, and he got all riled up. Wannabe tough guy, I guess. I told him to have a nice day and left. Bad attitude from this guy when he opened the door. I am a retired USMC Lt.Col. and am true to my word. I certainly understand about rules. Perhaps learn to treat people with respect gym guy. Maybe you are the reason the gym was EMPTY. Also, read a review from another potential customer of this Anytime Fitness and they had problems with the same guy treating them the same way. He needs to get some anger management classes and people skill classes before dealing with the public. I would recommend anyone looking for a gym in Grand Junction to go to Mesa Fitness Clifton. They know how to treat a customer!!

2nd time going. I…read morewas trying to sign up for the black card room thing. The lady who was there (1344 grey hair that was kinda a grown out mohawk haircut) was just kinda rude she also was giving me bad vibes. She didn't really explain the stuff that the room had to offer and sounded like she was just annoyed. Also turns out the guest of the black card member can't access the room, which I was fine with and understood but the tone she said it was rude sounding.

https://www.gjsentinel.com/news/western_colorado/strangulation-suspect-faces-tougher-charge/article_…read moref0008b6-1b98-59ae-89a8-7fdbb3be8254.html I am submitting this statement to document ongoing concerns regarding the conduct of a Planet Fitness employee. While I was a member at Planet Fitness, this employee frequently spoke about having served time in jail, being affiliated with a gang, and previously selling drugs. He openly discussed these topics with members but never provided context regarding his criminal history. More concerning were the repeated inappropriate comments he made while working. Based on conversations with others, I understand I am not the first person to raise concerns about his behavior. He also made repeated comments about preferring relationships with significantly younger women. He specifically bragged about beginning a relationship with a 21-year-old shortly after being released from jail. As a man in his 60s, I found these conversations inappropriate for a professional fitness environment, particularly when they were being shared openly with members. After learning more about his background and experiencing his behavior firsthand, I reported my concerns to a manager, who informed me that the matter would be forwarded to Human Resources. I was later told that HR determined no action would be taken. After I shared my experience publicly, I learned that two other women also contacted Planet Fitness Corporate and spoke with the front desk regarding similar concerns. Rather than addressing the employee's conduct, Planet Fitness chose to terminate my membership. Since learning that I had reported him, the employee's behavior toward me became increasingly uncomfortable. He would intentionally walk past me, smirk, and make remarks such as "excuse me" in a manner that I perceived as mocking or intended to intimidate me. I did not engage with him or initiate any further interaction after making my report. Despite this, he later claimed that he was uncomfortable with me and stated that he wanted to pursue a restraining order against me. I have not threatened, harassed, or contacted him in any way since reporting the situation. My purpose in documenting these events is to express my concern about repeated inappropriate workplace behavior and the response to multiple complaints. I believe members should be able to use the facility without being subjected to conversations of this nature or feeling uncomfortable because of an employee's conduct.
