For those with an interest: actual Chinese people were dining here. I had the Mongolian beef after I enquired about house specialities. It was brought spitting and sizzling to the table. Very tasty it was too. My colleague had chicken and cashews which he enjoyed and demolished with purpose. The cost was ridiculously low at under $20 a head. There's always a place for somewhere like Hoit Yim. It's a 3.5. I'll be back.

The Pad Thai was tasty but nowhere near as good as if you'd gone to a Thai place (the Thai place across the road was shut). The Char Kuey Tow was pretty tasty and more authentic. Overall, it really did the job without leaving me any lasting desire to go back. At $12 a pop, you can definitely get cheaper and better elsewhere I'd reckon.
