    A happy Chloe

A happy Chloe We're blessed to call HL WLR family. Our vet recommended we take Chloe to work off some energy. Now she loves her HL humans and fur-riends. The staff is always kind and willing to answer any questions. They were angels when caring for our Sweet Tiger. I highly recommend HL for boarding, grooming and daycare

In my opinion, probably the best doggy daycare and boarding in Little Rock. The newest of the four Hounds Lounge locations, West Little Rock is lucky to have this expansion. I was new to the area and had researched many daycare places for my large pup. I visited big and small places, but this Hounds Lounge location was the most convenient to my WLR home and was the nicest of the bunch. The interior is nicely kept and the staff are always welcoming. There are several DIY wash stations full stocked. They also offer professional grooming/bathing which I took advantage of since my pup is a handful to bathe. They also offer a complimentary day of daycare if you book a grooming session, which is super nice. The yard is separated into big and small dog areas both indoor and out. When I visited there was an overwhelming amount of dogs, but was told that weekends tend to be fairly busy. I usually do early in the week when it doesn't get too packed. Compared to many other boarding places, Hounds Lounge has the best facilities. While others use caged and crated kennels, hounds lounge has nice large suites for the residents. This is definitely where I would go if I ever needed a boarding service. Overall I don't have much to complain. My pup leaves me without hesitation every time I drop her off. That's usually a good sign of a happy day ahead.

Bad customer service. Place looks nice but don't get catfished. It's ran terribly. Anywhere else would be a better choice.

Very sad the way we were treated at our last visit! Chaotic and very stressful time for us! We will NEVER take any pets back there!

It was a serendipitous encounter as I had been looking for a new groomer for my dog Dexter. So on a curious whim I entered the pet salon. Although, a smaller pet salon than what I have been used to, the interior atmosphere of Woof Happy Tails was incredibly calm, inviting, and quaint. It took the greeting of a smiling young woman to snap me back to the reason why I entered in the first place. The receptionist and I discussed all the services Woof Happy Tails provided and their costs as they applied to my Long-haired Chihuahua, Dexter. I was given an abundance of information, which prompted me to let the receptionist know my severe ADD would likely prevent remembering the particulars discussed. That's when, to my amazement, she handed me a business card with the information to my inquiries written on it. WoW! Oh and by the way, I have yet to employ the specialized services provided by Woof Happy Tails. Regardless, I feel inclined to provide Woof Happy Tails with this 5-star review based solely on the exceptional customer service I experienced while simply inquiring about services. I can only believe the complete customer/pet experience to be nothing short of phenomenal as an actual patron of this pet salon. For any naysayers against me providing a glowing review Woof Happy Tails without having used their services, I am excited to inform them thamy appointment is now booked! UPDATE (04/14/2020): This morning was my lil' buddy's appointment for his full service grooming. Dexter demanded a prolonged walk this morning resulting in us running about 15-20 minutes behind. This prompted Erika to contact me, but I had just pulled up when the call was made. She met Dexter and I at the door, to lead us inside where I noticed a clipboard with documents attached sitting atop a table. I presumed they were the requisite on-boarding paperwork of new customers and their pets. Rather than have me immediately complete the documents, it seemed that Erika wanted to ensure we, primarily Dexter, were comfortable and felt at home before getting underway. While conversing, I thumbed through the papers and heard Erika confirm my presumptions. As each document was briefly explained, I looked up to see Erika holding Dexter like a lil' baby, making it clearly evident an instant connection was made. That was my cue to leave Dexter with them so they could do what they do. After what seemed like and hour, I received a phone call from Erika informing me all was completed and Dexter was ready to be picked up. Upon seeing how handsome Dexter looked, my only thought was OH! MY!! GAAAWD!!! They NAILED it! Both Dexter and I could not be any happier with the results and the entire customer/pet experience. Dexter was really happy when Erika provided a cupcake treat as a present in celebration of his birthday which is today! Erika and the groomer were PHENOMENAL and are TREMENDOUS assets to Woof Happy Tails. I whole heartedly recommend everyone to take their pets needing a groom to Woof Happy Tails!! Pets and their parents will both find the atmosphere here to be refreshingly calm and chill, while providing results and pricing I believe to be the best in town!!

Briarwood's folks were prompt and wonderful on the phone. They knew exactly what offerings they had, their schedule, prices, with no hesitation over the phone. They were willing to take in both of our dogs and a stray (THREE dogs) in one appointment, and that appointment was a masterclass in caring efficiency. Taking care of three dogs at once is impressive, but doing it with care and making sure each one gets the individual attention they need is unheard of. Not only did we get thorough checkups and necessary shots for everyone, but since they're a groomer too they threw in things like nail trimming (much needed for my old, slow dogs) just as part of the appointment. That alone was huge. I was particularly shocked when a little less than a week after our appointment, the vet we saw called to follow up and see how the stray was doing (he'd been malnourished and weak when we brought him in) which was above-and-beyond, and exactly the kind of thing I look for when trying to find someone to look after my furry friends. Seriously, I could not recommend Briarwood more!
