I've had to use this business several times for boarding/overnight care, but this will be the last. Staff is consistently rude. I paid extra for my golden retriever to receive an "exit bath". I picked her up and she was completely wet and stinky. Staff said she must played in the yard with other dogs after the bath. Upon asking if she even received the bath I paid for, staff stated they would re-bathe her. I received a text that she was ready for pickup and again, she was completely wet and smelled like a wet dog. Staff stated that "she just has too much hair". For a premium price point (where they also consistently ask for a tip) this level of service is unacceptable.

A happy Chloe We're blessed to call HL WLR family. Our vet recommended we take Chloe to work off some energy. Now she loves her HL humans and fur-riends. The staff is always kind and willing to answer any questions. They were angels when caring for our Sweet Tiger. I highly recommend HL for boarding, grooming and daycare

Bad customer service. Place looks nice but don't get catfished. It's ran terribly. Anywhere else would be a better choice.

Very sad the way we were treated at our last visit! Chaotic and very stressful time for us! We will NEVER take any pets back there!

I have been taking my dogs to this clinic and licensed veterinary hospital for over 25 years. While…read moreDr. Earl Smith was the owner, I brought my dogs to him for their care & surgeries. Since he retired, Dr. Brian Barron has taken over ownership of the clinic. I have found their vets. to be superior in all aspects of their care. Knowledge of current state and treatment of acute animal illnesses, as well as management of chronic conditions, e.g. My senior dog had severe arthritis in her spine. Dr. Barron, my vet, recommended weekly laser treatments to her back to reduce pain and inflammation. She responded very positively to the treatments. Dr. Barron heads the clinic, & has 2 Associate veterinarians that work with him. They are thorough in their examination of your pets, kind & considerate, explain steps of the treatment plan to you clearly, are not rushed when they are examining your pet, & honest in their responses to your questions. Office staff are polite, friendly, professional, and efficient. They clinic moved to its current location late last year. The new clinic on Kanis Rd is bigger & more spacious than previous location. Has a large waiting room for patients, has more exam rooms, and plenty of free parking. Clinic offers boarding and grooming. It may cost slightly more than other clinics, but the confidence and trust you feel in the care of your pet is worth the expense

She was loved by so many at the clinic. This is by far my favorite vet in Little Rock. I travel from Benton for my vet care needs. Now my cat Zazzy is a patient of Dr Hale. Over the years I've had the dubious honor of going to a lot of different vets. A lot…read more So, when I say that Briarwood is the best animal hospital/vet clinic I've ever been to, not only is that out of a big sample size, but it's the highest praise I could give. Briarwood's folks were prompt and wonderful on the phone. They knew exactly what offerings they had, their schedule, prices, with no hesitation over the phone. They were willing to take in both of our dogs and a stray (THREE dogs) in one appointment, and that appointment was a masterclass in caring efficiency. Taking care of three dogs at once is impressive, but doing it with care and making sure each one gets the individual attention they need is unheard of. Not only did we get thorough checkups and necessary shots for everyone, but since they're a groomer too they threw in things like nail trimming (much needed for my old, slow dogs) just as part of the appointment. That alone was huge. I was particularly shocked when a little less than a week after our appointment, the vet we saw called to follow up and see how the stray was doing (he'd been malnourished and weak when we brought him in) which was above-and-beyond, and exactly the kind of thing I look for when trying to find someone to look after my furry friends. Seriously, I could not recommend Briarwood more!
