They have an excellent website and the staff are always welcoming and non intrusive whether you are in the shop or out viewing a property. Me and my friends viewed a few properties with these guys when we were students and I always found them to be helpful, polite and honest. They did not want to oversell to us or pressure us. I found this relaxing and refreshing. It was maybe because they sell lots of flats to students due to their Ormeau Road location but I found the service to be excellent.

They offer a phone support service for outside office hours, trying as best they can to keep in touch with everyone they need to and be ready to help however they can. This Quarter consist of 1) the Titanic museum, which is probably the main attraction and gives the area its name 2) Film Studios - where Game of Thrones is filmed. On the tour bus, when we went past the studio, our guide pointed out the castle turrets, so I got to see a bit of King's Landing set 3) an Arena - our Belfast Black Cab Tour guide talked about how the Arena hosts a lot of musical acts and also is the home to a local ice-hockey team. The ice-hockey team was a way to reconcile Northern Ireland Protestants and Catholics via sport, but it's mostly American, Canadian & Russian players on the team. He also mentioned how when a name was being chosen for the team, there was a lot of suggestions for them to be called the Belfast Bombers!! (That Northern Ireland ironic wit slays me!!!) note - the teams official name was ultimately chosen to be Belfast Giants after Finn McCool 4) historic maritime landmarks like the only other surviving ship built by the same company that built the Titanic 5) my fave landmark in this area however are the Harland and Wolff shipyard's giant yellow cranes! The local name for these is Samson & Goliath. Also the H & W symbols on them, the locals would say those stood for Hate & War in the pre-troubles area. Now they are called Hope & (I cant remember with the W stood for, but again just another great example of the ironic local sense of humor) One tip - if u need loo facilities while visiting the area, the Bathrooms are on the lower level of the Titanic Museum! Called the next day, waited 45 minutes on hold, talked to Ann. Told I had to talk to Guest Relations but they were closed. The next day, waited 35 minutes on hold, got Guest Services who put me on hold for 25 minutes, to put me through to Guest Relations. Told that nothing could be done until it became a "Past Booking". The day it became a "Past Booking" I called, and was on hold for 40 minutes, spoke with Robert who said: "you can not receive a refund, nothing can be done". Spoke to Mega, one of the managers who said: "the terms of our online agreement do not allow us to refund you. Asked to speak to her manager. Said her manager was "Ellen but she's not really my manager, she just sort of oversees what I do. She's not available to speak to you." I spent almost as much, on long distance hold, US to Ireland, than the reservation cost. I travel for my living. Have never had worse customer service.

But the strangest thing about this store is the background muzak, the first few times I was here, it appeared to be some kind of 80's compilation, to my eternal shame I recognized every song, lately it's some kind of 90's eurodance vibe going on, it's most strange trying to choose which mouthwash to buy when you're being aurally assaulted by the macerena or Barbie Girl. Its difficult probably to sum up and estate agent as they all do the same thing basically. Just some are better and nicer than others. These guys offer good customer service and they really know the rental market along with having good local knowledge as well. If I was to rent a house I would definitely go to them to see if they had anything for me, as in north Belfast there are some houses out there for rent at a really good price.

I can only comment on the service I have received as a tenant but not the other services. This office is located on Woodstock Road, close to the city centre. Campbell and Co does not restrict their sales and lettings on particular areas but offer properties from all over Belfast and even from beyond. Their website is very informative and easy to navigate. I have come across their ads on one of the major property sites and I have been their client for 2.5 years now. I am pleased with their customer service as they are very flexible when it comes to property viewings, all the correspondence and contracts are very clear and understandable, and they conduct business very quickly. I have been a tenant in a property "run" by Martin and Co. for a number of years. Had it not been…read morefor the property itself, that we love, we would be with another letting agent a long time ago. Starting with the staff - In their defense there is one nice member of staff who is always helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff who I have had dealings with are quite the opposite and are very rude, unhelpful and often tell you lies like "Yes of course he will be at your property today to fix your shower" or "yes this property is the only one in the street fitted with an alarm" - a blatant lie when you hear other neighbours alarms going off at 3am. Regarding inspections which are contractually mean't to be carried out every 3 months, they seem to come every 2 months if not less. They will not re-arrange your inspection, even if you have exceptional circumstances. ie: your family is staying. Their inspectors don't check all the rooms, don't even peer over to see the garden, do not check for damage and rarely even check the kitchen area. ps: if I was a landlord, paying them good money for their services (ie: to inspect the house to make sure the tenants aren't doing damage) I would ask for a refund. I have often toyed with the idea of ringing the landlord directly to advise her to get a new letting agent. Lastly, repairs - You could have no hot water, no shower and no electric and you would ring them to get an electrican/plumber round straight away. How quickly do you think they will help you? Well first of all they will send their sales guy round to make sure you are a) not lying about your problem and b) not so stupid you forgot to turn the shower on or your tap off. Then you will be promised action straight away, they won't return your calls or they will straight up lie to you and you will be left out of the picture with a leaky tap or a broken shower, for days. In a nutshell, they couldn't care less about your property or your tenants. They will lie to you, ignore you, talk down to you and walk all over you. I found the only thing that works when dealing with them is to not bother - because it really won't make a blind bit of diffference. Avoid at all costs.
