To give you an idea of just how good he is, I live in downtown Philly and drive two hours to West Orange, NJ because he's the ONLY doctor I trust my face with! I'm not the type to deny the work I've had done. Why? I love what's been done to my face! Dr. Joseph has treated my lips with Silikon 1000 four times. I am SO happy with their results...and they're permanent! None of the BS where you have to come back every 6 months for temp fillers that cost a grand! Dr. Presti is an awesome physician in many ways - from his doctor knowledge base and surgical skill, medical training, to his composure under pressure and great patient bedside manner. His partner Dr. Drake is also great. They both try to do a great job operating and don't hurry for the sake of hurrying, unlike a few surgeons who shall remain nameless. I've had issues with this doctors staff, as have 2 people I've referred to her. They've had nothing but issues with her office staff. A year ago, after telling her and her staff 3 times to make sure they call a prescription to my Mail-in Pharmacy, she called it into the wrong pharmacy. Then when Medicare refused to pay for the script because of their mistake, her response was to pay for it out of MY pocket, because it wasn't that expensive. After a number of phone calls and arguing, she finally agreed to pay for HER Mistake ! I've brought this up to Dr. Wirtshafter about her office staff and the response she gives is that she backs her office staff 100%. Then there's the issue of her office staff Changing your Appointment times without your knowledge or correspondence of Any kind. I've showed up for an appointment only to find her office staff telling you that your appointment was changed to a later time. When I brought this up to Dr Wirtshafter, her response is that her office staff can't book 2 appointments at the same time, My response to her was that, her office staff gave me the appointment times, I didn't request the time, so how does that make sense ? Ordered my some nose drops and said we will see you in a month to see how you are (Well that won't be happening), I told her that just recently it was effecting my digestive tract. I wanted to know if she saw any GERD, As I was leaving I was given some paperwork, I just read it now (the next day) and she also wrote in her assessment that I have Chronic Rhinitis and Dysphagia (Pharyngoesohphageal Phase) which she never mentioned to me, This is a serious problem, I can't believe she never told me her findings and I was shocked when I read her assessment. I am freaking out right now by what I am reading about this and can't even discuss with her, This is unbelievable! Now I have to be extremely stressed until I go see a gastroenterologist in two days. What kind of doctor does not discuss their finding while you are in the office??
