I was scheduled for a procedure and needed a new doctor right away to do my pre-op. Dr Copen was perfect -- doing all the tests and signing off on the authorization. Since then, we see him a few times a years regularly. We used to see him in the old office, but now he's located right within holy cross hospital. His office staff, nurse Julie, and the gal who does the blood work are all great.

While we dont see Dr Miskin very often we try to get dad in for an annual check up. Most of the time we see Dr Mishkin if dad has to go to the emergency room after an incident. Dr Mishkn is a quiet patient doctor and always listens to whatever is said to him. He seems very mild mannered and does a great job with dad. I am glad Dr Mishkin is my fathers primary physician.

(that got resolved! )They actually told me I wasn't allowed to pick the in network (Bascom Palmer #1 for 24 years in eye care) doctors. Not True according to Humana Gold Plus, I am allowed to choose in Network Doctors. Back to the referral dept. I called at least three times to get the referral in motion. No response other than when speaking to Stacy she said it would be handled. I decided to give her a reminder on March 17 th since my appt. was on April 1 2026. Got nothing but attitude. Next phone call was from Bascom Palmer (March 25))asking if I could please call Mishkin's office as the referral was not there and they had gotten no response either. I then called and sorry to say I was furious and wanted to file a complaint with Dr, Mishkin. The lady who answered was cordial and took down the info. Today, the day before my appt. I had to go in and pick up the referral. NO Phone call to let me know what was happening as requested. Not their responsibility Stacy said. I will be looking for another Doctor as this experience has been repeated over and over with this dept. Unfortunately, the buck stops with the Doctor for not being on top of this on going problem!

Is posting this the only way I will actually get Dr. Garcia to call me? HELLO?!?! UPDATE: I called AGAIN and finally spoke with someone who said "DR. GARCIA NO LONGER SEES PATIENTS. HE IS THE OFFICE MANAGER." I asked to speak with him. "HE DOES NOT TAKE OR RETURN PERSONAL CALLS." But I am a patient who has been under his care for a year. The staff who run the office are rude and you never get the same person every visit and they never know your history, of which you are expected to explain to them in under 5 minutes for $45. My script that was filled, was not even correct, as the quantity of pills and time per day taken is not the same as the past dosage I was given. This place is horrible. I would not recommend. I fear this place has just turned into a PILL MILL and I am reporting them to the state and the BBB.

I needed Pre-op testing done quickly as surgery on an injured knee was planned in just a couple of days. Everyone at this clinic worked at warp speed to get everything I needed done and I can now have my operation as planned. Can't recommend them highly enough.
