It has been well over a year now waiting for the owner Mr. Brigham at Howie Glass to respond honestly to my complaint. My damaged mirror still remains damaged and my complaint is ignored without any thought or admission that they damaged my mirror. I expected honesty from this company owned by Mr. Brigham and I have gotten no where. I wonder if he feels satisfied that he continues to ignore and deceive the elderly. Shame on him. I must say these guys are sooo nice and professional with a hint of down to earth family vibes. Such a great company I had a broken glass at my house a guy came out to give a estimate. He made me feel very comfortable he explained everything to me, did measurements and gave me around about price but said a guaranteed price would come after he got back to the office and I would get a phone call and I did. I got a price I felt very comfortable with and we scheduled a the appointment for the following week. The owner and the same guy who came out to give me the quote came to my appointment and did my window . Really great guys . Did a impeccable job even cleaned my windows with glass cleaner and when I asked to buy a can of glass cleaner the owner just gave me one, even though they sell there glass cleaner it was so nice. If you are looking for a window company contact these guys really 10 star service I have absolutely NO complaints and I highly recommend. Out of the blue, we had a glass shatter in one of our front windows and needed to be replaced. It was the inside glass of a double-pane, tempered-eGlass window. This had happened to us several years ago on a double-pane glass door, also with just one pane shattered, ruling out an object hitting the window. The remaining likely causes are sudden temperature change or settling of the house. I checked Yelp and picked out a few window-replacement companies that were highly rated. I called each of them to ask for ballpark estimates. Howie Glass was one of my top choices because they responded immediately but, as I closed in on making a decision, our governor closed almost everything down because of Covid-19, including window companies, unless it was a board-up situation. Slow-forward a couple of months, and window companies were allowed to go back to work. So I dusted off my previous list and called several companies again, including Howie Glass. Since the other company I was considering was slow to return my call (the only negative review was for this), I scheduled Howie Glass to come out for an exact quote. They were available to come out within a few days. Chris showed up, put on his own shoe covers, and checked out our problem window. He quickly determined that the type of wooden-casement windows that we have are not ones they could work on. But he was able to refer us by phone on the spot to another company that could handle the type of windows that we have, and we set up an appointment with them. He then cleaned up all the broken-glass pieces, tidied up everything, and gave us written notes about the other company. I had a cracked bedroom window and Chris R. came to give me an estimate and take measurements to get the glass ordered. The glass came in about a week and then I was lucky enough to get Chris to come back again to get it installed. The replacement glass was definitely much more economical than getting a whole new window. The new glass looks perfect and now I'm all set for winter temperatures. The whole process was easy and took less time than I thought. Chris was a delight to talk to and one of the nicest people I've ever met. I had a small window in my bay window that was cracked on the exterior. I reached out to Howie Glass over Yelp and after they promptly responded, they came out and measured my window for a quote. They called me with the quote and once I approved it, they called me when the glass was cut and ready -and they came out the next day! Every person I interacted with on the phone or in person was courteous and the job is well done. I also want to add that I appreciated their professionalism in selling me a product -they came and measured the glass and then called me with the quote instead of expecting me to write out a check that minute. It was a small project but I still appreciated being able to think it over before I committed to it. I reached out to Howie Glass because I had had a fairly negative experience with another local glass company who was extremely rude and aggressive in their sales approach. Super fast response time! In my interactions with Chris over the phone, he was knowledgable, polite, sociable, honest, and clear. He was ready to come our house and give an estimate on a replacement for a glass window panel less than 24 hours after I reached out to him. Unfortunately, they don't make custom wooden stoppers right now (which we also needed), so we went with another repair shop this time. I had Howie Glass install a bathroom mirror, European Shower door, and a glass table top for a dining room table. I really liked working with them. I had them install the bathroom mirror first to see how I liked their work. After they did that, I told them about my other two jobs but that I was waiting on the dining room table to be delivered. They didn't call and bother me when my table took a month longer than expected. When I did call them, they pulled up my paperwork and previous quotes and were ready to go. I went to Howie Glass based on Yelp reviews, and I was very happy with my experience. I had 4 screens that needed to be re-screened and I had 3, large medicine cabinet mirrors that needed to be replaced. (Mirrors are about 20x30 each and serve as the doors on an large medicine cabinet that is inset into the wall of our master bath). Keith helped me out, and he was great. The entire bill came to about $270, and the mirrors were done in 10 days. Keith also helped me place everything in my car when I came to pick the items up. I appreciated the help! The screens look great, but my husband and I are really pleased with how the mirrors came out. It looks like we purchased a brand new medicine cabinet. I can't speak highly enough of this company, and I plan on using Howie Glass for all my future, glass needs. read more
