I don't write that many reviews. But, I truly appreciate when someone refers an exceptional business to me-so I'm paying it forward to you. My husband and I needed 6 large diseased trees removed and several others trimmed. The professional who treats our lawn is very reputable and recommended Hoyer's Express. We live in a very wooded development and had already had dozens of trees removed from our lot over the past 2.5 years. Dustin Hoyer was very prompt to my phone inquiry and provided a reasonable estimate after his assessment. We were scheduled within 2 weeks. The crew arrived on schedule. Clean up was efficient, extremely thorough and everyone was very professional! They were careful around our cable and irrigation lines. They moved our stepping stones, swept the driveway and sidewalks and raked the yard. We are also very happy with the stump grinding service provided. One of the stumps was from a large suppressed water oak that was in the middle of 3 large pines and a laurel oak. After the stump was carefully ground, you couldn't even tell that there was ever a tree there. They also ground down a stump and part of a massive root system that was "missed" by a previous stump grinder. Frankly, they left the yard better than they found it! My Patriot Service Dogs Freedom and I have no words to properly express our appreciation to Hoyer's Express and their personal for helping us immediately after a tornado hit our home. Sunday night after I completed a 24 hour shift as a firefighter /paramedic I was woken up to a tornado that hit our neighborhood. I've had four surgeries recently and unable to work fully for two more months. Five trees from my neighbors property fell, crushing my fence and landing next to my septic field .Hoyer's arrived in the rain and did not hesitate to help us immediately to remove the trees calling in their staff who dropped everything.I am a 100% Disabled veteran/firemedic .They donated their services to me and removed a gigantic tree from my neighbors property that crushed her shed /fence .They only charged her the removal fee and allowed her to make payments as she's a single parent who works at the hospital. They had to bring large equipment in order to do the jobs which requires a lot of money/ gas, etc. not including their time. My neighbor and I are forever grateful for the quick and caring service. The Hoyer crew were an absolute pleasure to work with. The owner, Dustin, personally came out to do the estimate, which was substantially less expensive than the quotes I received from a few other tree companies, and the amount of work he did was significantly more than the others were planning to do. In all, I had 6 trees removed, several trees trimmed, existing yard debris and leaves hauled away, and Hoyer's even removed an old, worn out deck that was an eye sore and hazard. For all that work, the price was still about 30% lower than the next best estimate (which only included removing 3 trees and trimming a few others). Service was fast: I called on a Friday, the estimate was done on Monday, and the job was completed on the following Monday...start to finish, the process took 10 days and the work was done in 1/2 a day. The entire crew was professional, careful, and friendly. From the initial conversation, it's clear to see that Dustin is a good person who takes pride in his work and is committed to making customers happy. At the time, they were quite busy, enough so their sales rep Luke, showed up at almost 8 PM: for an estimate; He was determined to get us scheduled once he saw the imminent danger of this 60-year-old Sycamore destroying our home. With Hurricane Helene on the horizon, I called their office, and Ashley Immediately began to do what she could to expedite this. I got a call at 4:00 yesterday: they were on the way. Long story short, an hour later 10 to 12 workers were swarming through the property, in a highly coordinated effort to beat the oncoming potential storm damage. By 8 PM, the tree was gone, debris removed, and the massive stump was a 4-foot pile of fine mulch. Let me just say to start off that I am a perfectionist and expect a lot. And Hoyer's delivered! They were working on a lot across from mine. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and courteous crew was impressive. I had them remove a tree that was entangled in some power lines as well as hanging over the neighbor's driveway. The price was more than reasonable. The actually did more than we agreed to, cleaned the yard up to the same condition they found it in, and were super quick. I seriously couldn't say enough good things about them. The last time I had tree work done I spent an hour cleaning up after they left. I highly recommend Hoyer's Express Tree Service. The quote was very competitively priced from the start. The crew efficiently worked together from set-up to finish in taking down two large Oak trees, in the backyard. One tree was barely inches from the fence, the other was close AC unit and house. Utilized heavy pads to lessen equipment tearing up the grass. The spider boom lift and other equipment was able to maneuver through the 58" gate without need to remove or reinstall any fencing. Hoyer's removed excess debris from the stump grinding, and raked up the area leaving far less clean up than I've seen from other trees removed. These folks are the best. We had , and still have, a heavily treed property. They trimmed six and removed thirty (yes, thirty) trees from our not-very-large suburban lot in Haile Plantation outside Gainesville, Florida. Very close work, very difficult. A bit of understandable, more probably unavoidable, collateral damage was immediately corrected, in one case requiring two of their staff to stay very, very late into the evening. I have called on them on 2 different occasions and both times I was not disappointed. They are very pleasant to deal with from the office staff to the clean up of trees. I would never call another tree service again. Previously I had called to get estimates on removing old very large trees. Other companies came and gave estimates but then put me off for 8-10 weeks for the work. The first time I called Hoyers they came right out and estimated the job and within days had the job done. We recently moved to a house that required a lot of work, including the removal of several trees that were either dead or overgrown.
