I had that feeling you get when you finally find a good dentist or car mechanic. They understood what was needed, gave me options and information; did the repair quickly, appropriately and well; and the price was right. I think what impressed me most, beside the kindness and competence, was their ability to do such a wide range of work such as brick and stone work, carpentry, roofing; and in particular, their vision of what could and should be done.

We hired Elmer's Construction (of North Augusta) to empty our septic tank. They broke our lid. They…read moresaid they'd replace it, and we've had an open septic tank in our backyard now for a WEEK! They won't answer when we call, they won't call us back. I then called from another location they answered! All promises and 'we'll call you back!" Then they don't. I told them we have children and pets! I'm sure this is a health code violation. Then they had the nerve to mail us an invoice! I would recommend NOT using this company at all. They don't stand behind their work and treat their customers horribly.

Our results were excellent. We have used Elmers twice in a seven year period for septic tank…read moredraining. In both cases the response was same day, the work was quickly and efficiently done and the operator pleasant and efficient. I did ask him about the broken lid episode reported on this site. Yes - the lid had broken, but as they are cast concrete and do deteriorate with age this does occasionally happen. He showed me where the corner of one of your lids was chipped and might need replacing in the future. Next time I need the tanks drained I will call this company.
