Tony and I stopped for a quick bite. This restaurant was extremely noisy, we almost left because of it. All the tables were dirty, but figured they must have had a dinner rush. We were greeted as soon as we found a table. She wiped it off for us. We both ordered tea, very good by the way, well brewed. Tony had shrimp and fries basket. I was coming in to town for a trip with friends, we were hungry. So, we seen Huddle House sitting off and looked empty. so we pulled in, walked inside. The people working, Beth the manager(i believe i could see her name tag) Tim, Tiffany and Vanessa was so welcoming as we entered the building. The food we had was amazing and hot and fresh!! it took beth n tim no time to get our food out. I had the MVP. We will keep coming back. read more

The never pick up the phone and the take to long to take your order and I'm tired of it

Coming to Swainsboro has been a reoccurring theme lately thanks to my Mom lol. With some early morning errands out of the way, feeding the beast which is my stomach was next steps lol. After using my trusty Yelp app, we found HH which is a typical dive diner. We walked in sat ourselves and our waitress came right over. Very warm and welcoming being in the south so I expected nothing less. The only issue is she didn't have a mask on which made us a bit uncomfortable and me being an NC resident with our numbers increasing we kept our masks on and ordered. I think she eventually got the clue and came back with a mask, she was literally the only employee without one. We ordered Philly Cheesesteak sandwich Pecan waffle w/ Eggs Big Breakfast (hash browns needed salt) The food was cooked well so no complaints on the preparation. My mom mentioned he hash browns needed salt which we got salt so no problem there lol. My neice mentioned her fries were to salty but her plate was pretty clean so don't think she really cared that much lol. Waffle with pecans cooked perfectly, eggs seemed a little lite on the quantity but that's the greedy guy in me saying that lol. Overall great dive diner, a little confusion on paying for my meal since I stood at the bar for maybe 2 mins but think my waitress was suppose to check me out. What a great place to eat!!!! The service was amazing!!!! Our server was on top of everything and even entertained our children while we waited on our food! Our food was absolutely delicious! If you would like a side of brown gravy with your white sausage gravy than this is the place for you. This is the Mecca for the high calorie comfort food. Reminds me of Waffle House with the type of food. Everything comes out hot and delicious totally lathered up in Gravy. No but seriously this place is a good value and the few times we have been here the waitresses have been excellent. read more

The service was great. We got our food in a timely manner. It was pretty satisfying, except the fact that the hashbrowns were overcooked and hard and the cook was annoying. He yelled a lot and was very immature. Overall, it was good though. My mom didn't leave a tip. read more
