I had to track down the waitress who promptly passed me off to another waitress to order. The food, however, was great. We had hot chocolate and chai to drink, which came quickly and was frothy and good. My son ordered the pancakes, which for some reason comes with ice cream in the breakfast menu. Hold the ice cream, but added sausage for some protein. There wasn't a lot of syrup, but the pancakes were fluffy and tasty. I got the sourdough toast with scrambled eggs, add smoked salmon. The portion was large and all of it was very good. I would have liked some jam for the toast, but maybe that's not how it's done here. To be fair I didn't ask for any, and it was very good with just butter.

The food is alright and the coffee looks like it is just made by high school students (no offence to high school student, there might even be some high school students who make beautiful coffee but they are rare to find and if there are any they are not found in this cafe) who on the minimum wage have nothing to worry about but there homework (this is all just speculation). The food is not bad and a little pricey but you have to take into account the time it takes to cook slow cooked meats so there moist and soft to eat. My meal was nice but the only gripe I have is that it came in a plastic basket and the paper under the burger stuck to the bun once wetted by the juices. The serviettes were thinner than one ply toilet paper and were a waste of time unless you used 5 at a time. All in all I would return especially for the coffee.
