My husband and I requested to review our final draft before submission (if you're reading this, make sure you do the same!) When we received it, there were countless typos & major errors.... wrong ZIP codes, my birthdate incorrect, and even a passport expiration date listed as the issue date, which could have gotten our case denied immediately. Instead of fixing these, we were told, "We're only human, we make mistakes too," and expected to proofread everything ourselves at home, then email them our corrections. After hours of stress, we submitted our revisions.. only to find many were ignored, leading to 5 rounds of back-and-forth revisions. We eventually had to go in person to finalize everything because even the "final" version still had mistakes. Most of the staff were friendly, but the person handling our case seemed impatient, as if we were taking too much of their time. For the price we paid, we shouldn't have had to do their job for them. The attorney does not return calls and useless only available to speak in the unlikely event you happen to stop by his office and he is there. While you can sometimes squeeze a few minutes of his time, he will surely remind you how he took that time spontaneously to discuss the matter, and conveniently forget that countless calls and weeks have passed in which the phone was silent. It's incredibly frustrating for businesses to use the pandemic as an excuse for delays when the time stamps for the court filed documents from this office don't align with their explanation. They try to pass off the blame (on the courts of course) for weeks if not months of inaction, meanwhile, there's other record keeping that could have been conducted during this time, but again, their explanations don't corroborate with the other parties involved and whom I've had contact with directly. If it were up to me, I would never have retained this attorney for the estate of my parents, but my siblings made this decision. Sadly, this attorney has been so deterred by the interpersonal relations between the siblings that he has entirely lost track of the purpose of the will he drafted for my parents... I just wish this office would spend a lot more time on honoring the wishes of parents as stated in their respective wills, instead of the petty and counterproductive demands of select siblings. Communication is poor at best with this office. Even if you try to be optimistic, and are open to hearing the counsel of the attorney, you should't have reciprocal expectations. There have been several times I have listened without interjections or engaging in dialogue, in order to hear him out in his entirety, and also allow a day or two to process his counsel. When following up in discussions, the attorney is not receptive to other opinions regardless of context, and has a 'his way or the highway' approach that often disregards your concerns as a client and more of a reflection at how this office prefers to be purely, as they have even said themselves, 'transactional', and with a one formula fits all approach.

He passed all my cases off to his Of Counsel, Jeff Basso, esq. Who is overwhelmed and weak in his representation style. He rarely speaks up to any judge or opposing counsel and accomplishes little to nothing. Unprepared, he would often email the night before detailing a next day court appearance. When I complained, Patrick McCormick started getting involved again but he was not up to date on all details and it was like having new representation. Do not be enticed by lower hourly rates than other mid sized law firms, because they more than make up for it in aggressive billing and a lot of "research and Philosophy" that requires a real looking over! Do not use!
