Like all other things Korean, skin care products and cosmetics from Korea are making waves in the…read morePhilippines. And, I think, the reason is more than just being associated with Korea. There really is value in these products. One of the popular Korean skin care stores in the Philippines is Etude House. What makes it standout is the cute design of everything in this store, and, when I say everything, I mean not just the products and the interior but the uniform of the salesladies as well. Really, they look cute in their aprons and skirts. Now, back to the products. All of them are put inside cute jars and bottles. Not overly ornate. If I could describe the shape of the bottles and jars, I'd say they are graceful and curvy. I've only tried one product from Etude House: Collagen Moistfull Super Eye Concentrate. The texture is silky and light. It also smells good but not overpowering. As for the efficacy, I cannot say much. Like what most people say, with eye creams, you cannot see the effects at once; only time will tell.

I decided to give it a shot and I went inside Etude House. I instantly felt off because everything was so pink and girly, I really wanted to get out of there. This place felt way too girly for my taste. BUT I was proved wrong once I walked around and tried their different products. This place was actually really nice. Their products are made in Korea which makes them more catered to Asian skin (yay) and the products are simple and straightforward and really work well. I fell in love with their eyebrow pen thing and their mascara, the pigmentation of their make-up products are great and everything looks and feel natural which for me is a must. Another great thing about Etude House is that the make-up is actually affordable! One of the reasons I'm not into make-up is because it's so expensive and I really just cannot afford it but Etude House sells things inexpensive but delivers good quality products. YAY YAY YAY!

With its name, it may seem that "Too Cool For School" is not a beauty shop. Perhaps it could be a writing essentials shop? A clothing line who just doesn't care for school? Well, names could be just as deceiving. According to their website, TCFS aims for "smart, different, fun", and I am a witness that they're achieving it! They are really unique when it comes to interior, and exceptional in their products. The concept of the store appears to be mix of a laboratory, with artistic dolls that look like test subjects, and of a classroom/school bathroom, with chairs and some mirrors. I absolutely love their details, the designs of their products, which come from contemporary artists, and the products itself. I recommend their pressed powders, mascaras, tints, and blushers. Get ready to be the unique, stand-out, clever and pretty one in school! Or better yet, a person of your own style and beauty!

Too cool for School is a Korean skincare brand which sells great sunblock and other facial care products. It is ideal for students who are on the go as it is a cheaper alternative to other makeup brands who peg their sunblock at 1,000 and above. I love to try Korean products on my skin because i know that as a culture they like using natural ingredients when making these products. As a race they seem to be really into protecting their skin as all the Koreans I know put a lot of money into skincare. It is also very evident because they all have one thing in common: really clear skin that doesnt get dark even though they walk around a lot. You can be sure that the products you get here are good for your skin and are made from safe ingredients. There is also a kiosk in Mega Fashion Hall in front if TopShop.
