The workers there are all very lovely people, very friendly and kind, they also speak both German and English perfectly. The store is a secret insider tip ,very much loved by many people.

I mean, it is really-really good…read more But, more than simply a boutique and a place where you can get some nice vintage clothing and other items, this place is a guitar repair shop. Yes, a guitar repair shop. As a lifelong guitarist, I was very impressed by some of the truly unique vintage guitars they have hanging on their walls. Many of them come from the era of later 1960s and into the 1970s where there was a lot of guitar modifications going on. These guitars are an ideal example of that era. The great thing is, they have not been changed back to their original condition, as is commonly the case in the world of today. But, they have been allowed to keep the true uniqueness of the modification that were made. If nothing else, these guitars are a true nod to the history of the guitar and great pieces of wall-handing art. Of course, the guitars are just one small segment of what this shop has to offer. They also have tons of great clothing, and a little bit of everything else. Great place to shop!

I think there was a Neukolln Night Out special as I was treated to a complimentary cup of sparkly as well. I spent nearly a whole hour in here trying things on. I felt very comfortable doing this. This was the first store I actually made a big purchase at. I felt compelled to as I genuinely loved the pieces I chose. I came to Berlin without a big coat and found 2 special ones I loved here: a long doona style one (79€) and a super warm hooded parka-style one (65€). These were pricier items in the store as most things seemed to be under the 45€ price range. The lady working here was friendly and recommended some more vintage stores around the area worth checking out: Neuzwei, Repeater, Lemagass & Sing Blackbird. They lured me in with a selection of scarves tied outside. Their bright colors beckoning me with the warm summer breeze. "Ah ok...a quick stop in." To my delight, Soeur is stuffed with nice garments. Racks and racks, shelves and shelves. Fairly well organized, not a rip/tear/hole/burn to be found on anything. In fact the whole place smells of fresh fabric...a rarity for a second-hand shop, even the nice ones. And while I'm sure I could have found a few things I would have HAD to have...the prices were a bit steep. You see, I have the patience and tenacity to skim thrift stores myself, so paying someone 400 percent to do this for me and display it cutely in a store? Hmmm, no thank you. So while it's a nice stop if you're popping in and out of shops in Prenzlauer Berg, there are not deals to be had. Consider it more of a boutique of forgotten and abandoned stylish items and then the relative pricing structure may not be such a shock. My one regret: the peach and purple leather Maxsport satchel from Italy. Marked down to 89 euro (from 159). If you are looking for a unique garment in excellent condition, and don't have a lot of time to waste please pay Soeur a visit. Also the ladies are friendly and will give you an honest opinion. Great selection of both local designers and well-known labels especially Isabel Marant, Wolfen, Acne and some very special vintage surprises. There is so much fast fashion in the world; support a local small business and do the planet some good at the same time.
