I highly recommend this place to everyone. They have helped me with a back injury, my kids with sports injuries, and my sibling when they had their hand reattached after an industrial accident. I've used HHFT on a couple different rehabilitations over the past few years and they have been nothing short of great in all my dealings. This OT business provides a comfortable, peaceful and relaxed environment for its patients. Appointments are on time and I have never waited for my therapist more than a few minutes once checked in. The office staff are all friendly, kind and professional, and in my experiences very easy to work with and helpful with scheduling and insurance billing. I have worked with several different therapists within this organization and they have always been professional and kind, and worked with me to help get me back to close to normal mobility, and as close to as possible pre-damaged condition. Both of the primary OTs on my last two rehabs were/are extremely committed to my wellness and in helping me get back to my old self. As well all of the assistive personnel have been helpful and seemed genuinely interested in my wellbeing. I was referred to Humboldt Hand and Foot to rehab a severely injured foot. I walked in on crutches. The therapists quickly diagnosed the problem and put me on some gentle exercises, recommended new types of footwear and ice treatments. Within a couple weeks I was off the crutches and improving, but they advised me to build up my activity level very slowly. Meanwhile they amped up the strengthening exercises including gripping and lifting objects with my toes to build intrinsic strength in my foot. Within about three months I was fully recovered. Then I put them to work on a stubborn problem with my forearms. Again, they gave a clear diagnosis and prescribed progressively more challenging exercises. I'm making progress now like I haven't in three years. Their fees are very reasonable (I have high deductible policy so I pay the whole bill). I have used a rehab facilities for various problems over the years. HHFT makes them pale in comparison. Some were good in therapy, just adequate as to front desk, time waiting,etc. I often thought if I could take their good points and make one it would be perfect. I found it at HHFT!. From the receptionist, timeliness of appointments and the actual clinical area it is truly five star. I have been treated for a shoulder injury and they really worked at it. Myrna and Amy answered all my questions, explained all procedures and course of treatment . The atmosphere there is so friendly. It makes you feel so secure, even though therapy is sometimes hard work. I cannot say enough about them. You just open the front door and you feel better. PS.
